I was still sitting on the ground looking at his back. He turned to me and smiled. "I'll protect you, don't worry," he said under his breath. He looked at my bloody arm. His eyes turned gray for a moment and then they disappeared. He smiled at me once again, before facing again the man who attempted my life. Knox raised his hand and a ball of air came out of it which surprised me. Does he also have powers?! It's like I'm just dreaming! The man also raised his hand and then black smoke came out again. The two of them were about to throw away their power when an arrow suddenly hit the man's head and he suddenly turned into ashes which surprised me even more. What the—

Then she loaded her bow with the arrow which is now carrying her blood and fired. That arrow hit Asael on his right shoulder. He paused momentarily as the arrow he was stuck with began to burn his flesh. The bad odor of flesh burning began to waft all around, indicating how her blood affected him. "I might not be grandmother, but I do carry her essence combined with my father's in my blood. My blood might not be enough to kill you, but it is enough to hurt you badly" she muttered angrily. Her blood began to spill on the ground from the cut.

“Someone, huh? Is this… a friend? Family?” I forced a small laugh, shrugging. “Let’s just say… It's complicated. But it’s about my step-brother.” Zara’s eyes sparkled with interest. “Ohh the step-brother, huh? That’s juicy! I mean, family stuff can get tricky. You need details, like what?”

Getting up from the ground she looks straight ignoring the scratches on her skin,her eyes widens in horror to see her brother laying on the ground on his stomach ,an arrow stabbed on his back bone,his eyes in the direction of the horses galloping away. Her eyes wells up with tears while she looks at him in astonishment. "Wan ke,"her voice comes out in mere whisper, getting up she walks towards him with her swollen foot which has knocked hard on a rock. She drags her feet and makes her way to him, falling on her knees she holds the arrow with her trembling hands.
