The council had more than enough money, it was the least they could do for them. I walked over to the fridge and grabbed two beers, I opened them up, and then sat down on the couch. Once the hunters saw me they began growling. I was used to them growling at me every time I came down here. To be honest, I didn't blame them for hating me, the poor things had been hunted down like animals, snatched away from their homes and families. And as if that wasn't bad enough, they were then thrown down here like lab rats, and then forced against their will to be turned. I heard Finnley gasp as he entered the room. He then ran over to one of the cells and screamed,

They sleep on cardboard sheets, covering themselves with newspaper while some just sit leaning against the wall, a bottle of booze in one hand. Perhaps this is how we will and up as well, Theo and I. It simply felt unreal. Carter wandered downtown Seattle, the crowds bigger now that it was the height of tourist season. People wearing suits walked amongst families wearing fanny packs, while the homeless dotted the corners, some taking up the entire sidewalk. Carter lived in one of the high-rises near Pike Market that overlooked Elliott Bay, but he didn’t want to go home right now. He finally decided to get out of the city because right then it felt like it was choking him. He hadn’t planned to drive south, but when he reached his old childhood home, where his dad still lived, he couldn’t feel surprised.

I prepared myself for their attack. I don't want to die! I will never let them touch me! "Oh wow, you are right. His wound was aching as if he was stabbed thousands of times. His body felt light and powerless as if his soul was departing from it. He could not hear. He could not see. I heard the vulgar comments they made while I put on my bra, my jeans, and my sweater. It was disgusting and humiliating. The second I put on my shoes, I was dragged out of the apartment, and then I was driven to Alpha's residence in the pack's district. It was a luxurious mansion, guarded by a tall wall and a massive gate. There was a grand fountain right in front of the entrance. I gritted my teeth, thinking that the bastard who lived there could wipe his ass with money while the children at the orphanage, including his own flesh and blood, suffered from malnutri

He swallowed a little saliva looking around him again; there was a lot of light, more than his eyes had ever seen, people kept passing by. This time they noticed his presence; they covered their noses with their expensive coats, others looked at him with disgust and annoyance while some just walked faster

"Fours how about yourself?" "I could use some more as well." Four looked at his arms. "The sleeves are to tight and it keeps rising up with I raise my hands." "The change in weather... and the Sun turning Blue in this area.. another Timeshift?" Ren waited a moment taking out a piece of meat. Two and Four gathering around him. They watched as a few seconds nothing happened. Then a few minutes it started to change. Finally, in an hour, it was rotten. "Yeah... this is way to much."

All the while, the guard kept staring at me, yup he was definitely creepy. “Here” James handed him the squeezed letter, the guard pinched it to collect it from James and that's when I noticed his long nails. I watched the man skeptically, he held the paper in a foreign way as he began to unravel it, his eyes scanned through the sheet before he turned to look at me. “Miss Avery Martins?” He asked and I eyed him warily. “Yeah” I replied and he nodded before handing James the paper. “Welcome to Bridgeford” he smiled, a disturbing one before walking back to open the gate and letting us in.
