Tania's POV I was barely touching the tiramisu in front of me, the bitter sweetness failing to reach my nerves, when the television flickered. West’s attention was buried in his laptop, fingers moving across the keyboard, his jaw set in an unreadable way and it made him look like he was calculating the end of the world. And then the screen cut to Damian. He was smiling, impossibly self-assured, with Kella by his side. Her hand rested lightly on his arm, the kind of intimacy we never had, that made my chest tighten with a cocktail of anger, disbelief, and fear. The chyron below screamed in bold letters:

I say and Damian agrees with me. "I think it would work, if only we had some people who could test it out for us," Luca says innocently. "I do not own a choker," I say. "Martina gave me one," Luca says and I groan. "I will think about it," I say and Luca throws a black choker at me. "Hey!" "I'm just trying to spice up your sex life," Luca defends. "I do not need you to spice anything up," I say and Damian laughs.

Warriors ringed the sparring mat, some whispering, some staring frozen and silent, as I shoved myself off Gabriel, rolling to my feet. He propped himself up on his elbows, his golden eyes following my every move as he raked a hand through his dark hair. He wasn’t used to losing. I could sense the frustration within him, the way his muscles clenched like his wolf was scratching itself just below the surface. Good. Let him stew in it. "Alright, show's over!" Kayden clapped his hands, stepping to the edge of the mat. “Unless our dear Alpha wants to try round two?”

I push furthur. He slowly walked over to me, and traced a finger down my face. As soon as his finger touched my skin, I could feel the sparks ignite all over my body. My heart started beating faster at the closeness of him. The sparks that used to be very light pinpricks, were now full on electricity. "Do you feel them?" he asks quietly. With my voice caught in my throat, I nod. "That's how I know you're my mate," he smiles sweetly, "Oh, and the fact that your scent is so intoxicating."

"I raise you." Shivel chuckles and takes a drag off his cigar before tossing in some more chips. "Call. What you got, mother fucker?" Christian lays his cards on the table, revealing two kings and three queens. I look at Shivel, who is trying to come across unaffected. But years of people-watching has made it easy to see his tells. His fingers twitch just slightly and his eyebrows raise just a miniscule amount. He's won and he's just drawing it out as long as he can. Asshole.

"Iam all yours" he grinned at her as his eyes raked her naked body in disgust, he walked closely and leaned on top of her. He knew ameerah is smart and be has to be smarter, he nibbled and sucked on her weak spot as he finger gently finds it way to her gun that was kept closer to her.

I heaved down a sigh, propping my elbow on my desk, my palms cupping my chin. "She is Alpha Rosalva of the Romania pack." I dropped the bombshell. "Holy shit!" Mateo screeched, hissing profusely. His face was turned into a state of shock. "You ain't playing, right?" He asked with his voice filled with worries, pity, and concerns. "I'm not kidding, and I will need your help since I'll be leaving the pack." Mateo sighed before turning to look at me. "What is that you need?" He asked in a calm voice.

I myself have two mates. Alpha Matthias Blackclaw of the Blue Crescent Pack plans to wage war over these bonds. He's driven purely by hatred—he recently rejected another pack’s beta as his mate simply because her brother is gay. He's dangerous and plans to visit my pack within the week to broker a pact with a neighboring pack, and we fear he intends to spread his hateful ideology.

She had finally found her place in the pack and her mate, and she was ready to embrace her new role as Alpha. The Alpha's voice echoed through the clearing as he announced Amelia as the new Alpha of the pack. The pack members cheered in celebration, and James stepped forward, expressing his desire to be Amelia's mate and make amends for his past mistakes. Amelia stood there, her emotions swirling within her. She acknowledged James' sincerity but couldn't easily forget the pain she had endured. As she looked into his eyes, torn between hope and doubt, a sudden commotion erupted on the outskirts of the clearing.
