Ava looked toward the far end of the facility. A massive steel door had appeared where there had previously been a wall. Four symbols were carved into it. The first belonged to Lily. The second belonged to Veronica. The third belonged to Ava. The fourth, belonged to Ethan. Jonathan stared at the door. "No." Ava turned. "What?" He looked terrified. "That door should never open." "Why?" "Because it doesn't lead outside." Ethan stood. He looked at the door. "It leads to Genesis." Ava swallowed. "And what's inside Genesis?"

The full moon shone. Its light illuminated a workspace occupied by three people. Adro had prepared all the items Suzan requested: a box of chalk, a small clay pot, and two doors.
