His Book club

His Book club

I called again, moving toward the door but I got no answer. This guy is not only a nerd, he is also weird and somehow crazy. I wonder how I was going to cope with him when I joined his book club. I grabbed my phone off the table and unlocked it. As the screen popped on, messages flooded in. Group chats messages , especially the ones I've muted for a while now. ‘Arian Smith, Orleans College Book Club President, Accused of Misusing Club Funds.’ I blinked, trying to wake myself from the dream. I scrolled down, read it again and it was still the same.

She's Mine

She's Mine

I didn’t expect anything different. It was a slow drive back to the pack. It seemed like he wasn’t in any hurry to end the trip. Even if it was really quiet. I didn’t say too much because I didn’t know what to say. I’ve never spoken to anyone in a real conversation before. I knew how to have a conversation, because of the books that I read. But that was the only way I knew how to speak to people. Alpha Connor kept looking over at me and I guess he was trying to figure out what to say as well. I knew that I wasn’t the easiest person to be around. Even I knew that.

I like the story. I wish the editing was better but I could never do this. I admire you for putting this out to be read. It's good and I can't wait to read more. Is her father a descendant of the exiled 5th child?

I really enjoyed it, it was just something different. I wish there could have been more character information/development, I feel more could be added to it. But overall I really liked the creativity of the story, and hope to see the story continue in another book.

Captive Of The Count

Captive Of The Count

I realized my mistake of calling it a diary on seeing the glee appearing on his face. "Oh my God." He looked back at it in his hand and smiled, "This would be an amazing replacement for Frankenstein." "Don't you dare read it!" I walked around the table and he moved farther away from me to the door, "Give it back Nexus! It's not yours to read." If he read that book I could as well be dead. "Best friends have no boundaries and privacy from each other." He quoted, "Book of best friends, rule 89." "Where on earth is that written?" I clicked my tongue as he moved his fingers in the air and a book appeared out of thin air. He threw it at me and I caught it.

I am liking the story and definitely hooked. My personal opinion, I wish Amara wasn't so naive after what happened to her when she was younger. However, as Amara's story develops the personality type seems to make sense. I look forward to reading more chapters and watching for those updates.

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)

The set up

The set up

With a smile, I realized that sometimes, life's surprises could lead to unexpected friendships and help light the way in the pursuit of truth. As Kelvin and I sat in my apartment, our conversation flowed naturally, seamlessly weaving between topics of our lives, shared interests, and the story I was researching. The warmth in his eyes and the easy charm of his smile made me feel at ease, as if we had known each other for far longer than just a few chance encounters.

THE BILLIONAIRE'S SURROGATE BRIDE

THE BILLIONAIRE'S SURROGATE BRIDE

I lied shamelessly, I missed working at the salon As we settled into a cozy corner of the café, Hervey shared stories of the adventures and misadventures since we had last seen each other. Her animated gestures and infectious laughter gradually lifted the weight that had settled upon my shoulders. It was as if our reunion brought a glimmer of light into the darkness that had plagued me. Through our conversation, I realized that friendships were not bound by time or circumstances. True connections could withstand distance and even the passage of time. Hervey's presence reminded me of the importance of cherishing those connections, of nurturing the bonds that brought joy and solace into our li

Doctor Luna was Rejected

Doctor Luna was Rejected

He said, waving a soft smile at me. I reciprocated, "Thank you for always being there for me." "It's nothing. What are friends for?" — It was a hot afternoon, and I was done with all I was doing. I had already forgotten about my conversation with Mr Kimber and my meeting with Lawrence. I was busy with my phone, and I felt I should give my sister a call to check on my children. Just then, a knock came on the door. I would be grateful if it were Desmond, I think I need someone to talk to and keep my day lively. "Come in."

Stalked By My Boyfriends Best Friend

Stalked By My Boyfriends Best Friend

“I’ll admit, this is nice. Unexpected, but nice.” We order pancakes, eggs, and coffee, and the conversation flows easily. He tells me stories about his childhood, moments that make me laugh so hard my stomach hurts. I tell him about my favorite books, the ones that kept me sane during the worst times of my life. It's crazy, but reading how those women were in similar situations to me and took charge, changed the ending was empowering.

The Light's Shadow

The Light's Shadow

I clear my throat before continuing "I also have two close friends. They are called Jessica and Johnathan. Jessica used to be a Catholic before becoming an atheist. Johnathan is my childhood best friend from Israel and is gay. My parents are called George and Pamela. I also have an older brother named Calvin. He's the CEO of a very important company in the United States. I am also writing a romance book but it’s not going so well," We are so focused on our conversation that we don't even notice the waitress coming over to bring our food. But when she informs us that the entrées are here, we just take them and eat quickly. After we finish eating, we keep talking for what seems like hours.

The Alpha Kings Mistake

The Alpha Kings Mistake

He smiles holding up his arm for me, I smile linking my arm with his as we stop at the door and wait for someone to allow us to leave. “Did you ever find that book you were after for a friend?” I ask making conversation as we waited, he looks over seeming to get worried but shakes his head. “I only ask as I’m in the library a lot, if you needed any help I would love to offer.” I smile wanting to pay him back for him helping me get over my nerves, but he smiles shaking his head.

Obsessed With My Neighbor: Romantic Collection

Obsessed With My Neighbor: Romantic Collection

I marveled at the fact that something so ordinary could feel so charged with quiet meaning. The meal was delicious, but it wasn’t just the food. It was the conversation, the laughter that bubbled softly between bites, the way we leaned slightly forward, shoulders almost touching, sharing details of our days and lives. I told him about the book I’d started last week, how it had unexpectedly made me think about my own routines. He listened, genuinely interested, nodding occasionally, asking questions that made me feel seen.
