Third POV Let's go back to the beginning, before the moon had learned to behave itself and the stars were still arguing about their seating arrangement, the Cosmos decided it was time to throw a party. Not a normal party, mind you, this was the kind of cosmic bash where the invitations were written in pure primordial essence and the dress code was "try not to unravel reality." The Cosmos, feeling particularly full of himself after a long nap that lasted several eternities, decided to create the first gods to help manage the newly formed world. His thought, what could possibly go wrong with creating helpers?

Elias instinctively reached up, touching the tarnished silver band resting on his brow. "It wasn't mined, Architect," Elias said, his voice dropping to a whisper. "It was recovered. From the impact crater." "What crater?" I demanded. "The one at the roof of the world," Cord answered, stepping forward, his massive chest heaving. "The highest peak in the northern frozen wastes. The wolves call it the Goddess's Tear. It is a massive, frozen crater where a fragment of the moon struck the earth ten thousand years ago." I felt the familiar, terrifying thrill of a new impossible equation locking into place.

Charlie POV. Kronos, the titan. The father of the three-main gods. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. The destroyer of worlds. I look at him, my mouth open, and Gaia giggles. Fucking giggles like I’m not sitting opposite the one man who can kill the Gods. “Surprise!” I look at Gaia and she smiles at me like the bomb that was just dropped wouldn’t annihilate everything. “Kronos? As is the real Kronos?” I ask in disbelief, and he rolls his eyes with a groan.

“I’d suggest you sit down, this is going to be a long story.” I nodded then lowered myself to the soft grass and sat down, ready to listen to what she had to say. “Long ago,” she began. “In the celestial realm of Vhal’Zyrr— this is where the gods lived, where the universe was created. There was a young god amongst them— Zerathos, the bringer of dread. He was born from the cosmos itself, his powers sprung from the darkest corners of the universe itself. He had the ability to bend the will of those lesser than him, to make them see, feel and die as he wished. At first, the other gods were surprised by his powers— his creation as a whole. All the gods were in attendance except the smaller, insignificant ones like the goddess of excess, the god of misery, no one wanted Sadis the guardian of the Hell Realm in their celebrations, Horoda the goddess of powers under the earth was absent too. As the group neared the temple and the gods they fell on their knees and hailed them.

Isaac strained his ears to hear, but was unable to pick up more than a few words. This was soon overtaken by the rich tones of another voice, echoing through the broken walls, from above and below. Everywhere and nowhere. "I am the lord of fire who lives on truth, The Lord of Eternity, Maker of Chaos, against whom the otherworldly serpents have not rebelled. I am the God in his shrine, The Lord of Slaughter, who calms the storm. Let darkness fall." The ground roared as steam rose in vast clouds, melting the skin from the faces of the fallen corpses, dissolving their features and bone into nothing.

Kian hugs his papa. "Okay, they're here let's start before it gets flooded here." Kaios said when the other deities arrived. Kian's parents stand with Kōri and Feu. Kaios, Selene and Leluna stand up to greet the newcomers. The other deities who arrived are Asili, the deity of the four elements. Water, fire, earth, and wind. Galax, the deity of the stars and time. Lastly, the Sun deity which is also the king of the deities and Leluna's brother, Ijus. Kian and Kaleb are overwhelmed with their presence.

"You come to help me, don't you? To resurrect my love, Anna?" A deep, resonant chuckle escaped Thanaros, the God of Death. "Yeah, little human," he replied, his voice carrying an otherworldly weight. "I am indeed the God of Death, Thanaros. But the cycle of life and death is not mine to disrupt. I cannot resurrect your dead lover."

She summoned more packs swearing their loyalty to the Aletha wolf pack. “Get the prophet.” Clarissa ordered Adira who immediately did as she was told and went to get the prophet that had prophesied Valerie’s birth. “What is going on?” Clarissa asked the prophet who was already standing in front of her, in fear. The prophet laughed for a while before finally speaking. “Glory to the moon goddess.” He shouted. “The Prophecy is coming to pass.” He continued. “Rest assured Suprema, Valerie would be perfectly alright. She’s simply absorbing all of the powers meant for her....” The Prophet said.
