The Rejected Alpha

The Rejected Alpha

Hopefully, one of the books would shed some light on this situation. **** "Well, she certainly isn't a minotaur." I said to myself, rubbing at my eyes. I guess sleep had finally caught up with me, and I was beginning to feel tired. Having gone through countless books, I finally found one that was some kind of encyclopedia on creatures. I have studiously gone through every single page, starting from 'A' and reached the 'M' section, my eyes getting droopier by the minute. But I had to go on. "Monoceros,... a one horned stag horse elephant boar hybrid... yeah, she's definitely not that either."

Currently at 124 Chapters 2023 September 6. I heard the book was abandoned but i hope not. The author left a note in chapter 116(?) saying her book was stolen but that she is editing it and finishing it. Fantastic writing style. I hope the author continues.

Iron Serpent Chronicles

Iron Serpent Chronicles

"Read the last caption." "It is the opinion of this Observer that all these creatures are from the metaphysical realm. They are both similar and dissimilar from their natural-born counterparts. This Observer has been unable to procure a living sample of any subject found within these pages. All obtained subjects were frozen in mid-shift: part man/part beast. Until living subjects can be located, all further study would be speculative instead of concrete. This Observer is uninterested in speculative discovery," Kiema read it aloud. "Was this the last entry in the book?" she asked.

ALPHA DORIAN

ALPHA DORIAN

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I ran my fingers over the embossed title: Nightstalkers; Hunting the Creatures of the Night. As I opened the book, I felt a shiver run down my spine. The pages were old and worn, their corners curling up from years of use. The illustrations within were both beautiful and terrifying, depicting hunters fighting against the creatures I had come to learn about; werewolves, vampires, and other beasts of the night. As I read through the book, I felt my heart racing with excitement and fear. I learned about the different types of hunters and their techniques for tracking and killing these dangerous creatures. Fear overtook me as I thought of Dorian, fighting ag

To Breed a Beast BOOK 2

To Breed a Beast BOOK 2

CHIKA WHITMORE I sit perfectly quiet in my seat, watching my parents through the glass with a heavy, throbbing ache in my chest. It is a massive shock to my system. My eyes are witnessing a genuine, raw display of parental love coming straight out of Cedric and Helena. It is a soft side of their wolves my mind never expected to see, showing how deeply they actually care about their youngest cub. My brain always assumed Cedric would stay completely stoic like stone, and Helena would never drop her elegant high-society attitude. Yet here they are, crying like babies over Bianca's broken bones.

The Last Horned Queen

The Last Horned Queen

I was sure. I sighed and flipped it open again, running my fingers across the stiff old pages. The writing inside was tiny, neat, and definitely older than anything I had ever seen in Father’s library. Each chapter had illustrations of different beasts, creatures I’d only heard whispers of. Gargoyles, gnomes that were alive, serpent women and even sirens. None of these existed though… or did they? I could feel my head throbbing from an oncoming headache so I just shut the book and stared at the ceiling of my room.

Bride Of The Lycan King

Bride Of The Lycan King

Flipping open the book randomly, my eyes skimmed over words that made no meaning to me. I turned around as heavy footsteps approached, only to find Yeti balancing a ridiculous amount of books in her arms. “Found some good stuff—” she paused as her eyes strayed to the book I was holding. “What is that?” “A book?” She walked past me, dropping the heaps of books on the table before turning back to me. “Let me see that.” She said, prying the book from my fingers. “Forgotten Beasts: A Study on the Supernatural.

Mated to Three Handsome Nightmares

Mated to Three Handsome Nightmares

I picked at a golden slice of fish, savoring the rich, tangy taste before looking over at the book still sitting beside Kira’s seat. "What are you reading?" "Something on mystical creatures forged with witchcraft," she said between bites. "I’m hoping it might help us identify the giant serpent, but so far, there’s no mention of it." I chewed slowly, my gaze falling to the intricate cover of the book. "Nothing about a snake that kills everything in its path?" "Not yet. Just banshees, shadow beasts, some hybrid ghouls, and this weird chapter about moon-cursed wolves." I raised an eyebrow. "Sounds delightful."

Alpha's Enchantress Mate

Alpha's Enchantress Mate

Arthur just shrugged. Mila gave him a vexed look and flipped through the pages. She was looking for a cannibal who was scared of light, but there were quite a few monsters mentioned in this book that were cannibals and were afraid of light. So, she started looking at illustrations to see if any bite marks matched the victims, but there was nothing. “Oh, this was a waste,” Mila snapped the book shut. Arthur was still very quiet. “What is wrong with you?” Mila demanded.

Dragon Born Luna

Dragon Born Luna

A first edition of Meridian's Bestiary, one of only three known copies, lay in the fireplace, its charred edges still smoking faintly. I crouched beside a toppled shelf, running my thumb over the embossed title of a fallen book: On the Nature of Forgotten Gods. The sheer breadth of knowledge in this room made my chest tighten. Histories of dead civilizations. Treatises on magic even the scholars feared to practice. Accounts of creatures that should have stayed myth. And as I stood in the midst of the wreckage, breathing in the scent of ink and blood and broken things, I understood why someone would take her.
