Alpha Hybrid Queen

Alpha Hybrid Queen

She came running into the kitchen with a big book and slammed it down open, making both Jensen and I jump with a grin on her face. “So,” she said excitedly, “The world is littered with all kinds of curses, and spells and prophecies. Some are so old that they could have been written by the original Alchemists themselves. There is one though that is so old it’s almost forgotten. It’s about the creation of a new supernatural species.” She turned the book and showed me the page that she was looking at. There was a crude drawing of a dog-like man, like how werewolves are shown in some of the TV Shows and movies out there.

just started reading this book and I must say i can tell that the female lead is about to annoy the he'll out of me. How can your mate find you in bed with another and you expect them to be reasonable?! And worst part she doesn't even feel or act guilty about it.

The Tyrant Emperor and his Eccentric Mage

The Tyrant Emperor and his Eccentric Mage

A day or so, had passed since that conversation and Alexis spent most of her time holed up, trying to read through the thick books Emilia had left her. The books were more packed than her college books and shortly after her head would be spinning. Terms like, central mana, epidermal mana, mental mana and emotional mana. After a while she had to read through the same pages multiple times, barely grasping an understanding. One of the books, the one on magical creatures was actually interesting. It had long chapters that focused on a single creature, it was packed with their abilities, mental capabilities and even hobbies and preferences with dislikes labeled boldly. Warning the readers not to

Fragile Bond: The Alpha's Breeder And The Hidden Triplets

Fragile Bond: The Alpha's Breeder And The Hidden Triplets

It was heavier than he expected and he carried it and placed it on a table in the library, getting a seat and making himself comfortable because he had no idea how long he would be in there for. Eamon opened it cautiously, revealing yellowed pages filled with handwritten text, diagrams, and sketches, as he did that, the air in the room seemed to change as he delved into the contents of the book obviously, God knows how long that book has been there, without being touched. The book also detailed the rare phenomenon of individuals from different species or beings being fated as mates, "Okay this is close to what I'm looking for" " he said a bit glad as he turned and looked at the shelf, "that'

Marked by the Hunter's Daughter

Marked by the Hunter's Daughter

Ruth ended the call and left Alex and Lee with an astounded expression. “Oh God.” Their minds were about to melt down. Werewolves, vampires, witches—were all real. Alex was reminded of a book he read at Books and Artifact where he works. “Lee, I found a book at Books and Artifact that was about supernatural creatures. I think the name of the book was, um, Wars, Wood Battles, um, I can’t remember.” “You mean The Wood War by Kayla Nicky Chadson?” Ha! The boy jolted in shock as he heard the voice of Abigail behind them. They stared at each other, confused about what to say.

Blue Crescent Moon

Blue Crescent Moon

She needed to find out what was going on, so looking through her father's vast knowledge of creatures he's been collecting throughout the years, you can tell that he had bookshelves covering the entire office walls. His office was the exact size you would see in a CEO's office. Lilith let out a sigh knowing this is going to take a while. An old boy was she right after reading probably 20 different books about markings, little it was no closer to figuring out what was going on with her—so getting another book from the pile. The Book was about magical creatures. Lilith Noticed that this book was a lot thicker than another book; flipping through the pages, she noticed the same markings on a pa

Alpha Aidan explained as Archer and I joined the group of people huddled around the desk, whilst Darren hurriedly flipped through. “Here it is! The Tale of The Flesh Eaters, written by Arthur Bartley. It is said that Arthur saw these creatures one day which inspired the book.” Darren explained with a smile standing back so we all could see the story he was very proud to find, I mean this was only further validating the claims he’s been making.

Vexed

Vexed

I had this unsettling feeling that they were going to attack, but where, when and who were uncertain. When I got home, I ran over to an old, Victorian cabinet that was passed down through the generations in my family. It was cherry oak and curved out in the middle; the Victorian designs were chipped but didn’t deny that it was a formidable antique. I walked up to it with my set of keys, found the right key and unlocked it. I took out my book of creatures and opened it. It was an old, leather bound book passed down from century to century, with my ancestors adding to it as new creatures revealed themselves. The faded letters in the middle of the cover said “Demonology” in Irish text. The page

However, a moment went by before she narrowed her eyes in thought. “I think we should try some of the bookcases toward the back. I know that there are a few tomes that are under lock and key for safety reasons, but if it’s just basic background information you’re looking for, then I think you should be able to find something.” Nora led us to the back of the large room, where we came upon a narrow bookcase and an entire glass case that had a large metal lock on its doors. I read a few of the spines before coming across one titled ‘Creaturae et Ineffabilia’. “Creatures and Unspeakables,” I muttered. “This one looks promising.”

Tears Of A Broken Omega

Tears Of A Broken Omega

I had spent more than thirty minutes just reading a single page, and it was driving me insane realizing it was only the introduction I had managed to get through. Because of how stressed I was, I found myself absentmindedly clicking the button of the device in my free hand, momentarily forgetting its actual purpose. Usually, I would have just handed this off to someone else to translate, but Ragnar wasn’t stupid. He would start asking questions. And right now, questions were the last thing I needed. So I had to deal with this myself. The book was about ancient creatures, ones that had gone extinct centuries ago. Creatures like blood wraiths, banshees, vampires, skin-walkers, and soul eaters,

Haunted Beasts

Haunted Beasts

My heart is furiously beating as I type the word nonhuman. Many articles pop up so I just click on the first one. There are so many definitions. Sirens, witches, vampires , demons and yes, Angels are there too. Apparently the term is used to describe people who are not exactly humans, people with unusual gifts or powers. The following article says nonhumans are just a myth and that no such thing exists. One says they were real during the eighteenth century but we're destroyed and are now extinct. I keep on reading and even click on the images. The images are a bit scary and definitely not human. The thought that I could be one of those things is more than scary.
