"Get that tray out there or I’ll skin you myself," Donald barked. The cafe owner’s voice was a jagged saw against the obsidian walls of the Den. Emily’s fingers tightened on the silver tray. Her knee—shattered that morning by her own brother’s boot—throbbed in time with her racing pulse. The medical salve was wearing thin. Outside the kitchen swing-doors, the air was thick with a sudden, suffocating surge of Alpha pheromones.

But with it comes the putrid stink of death. Two dead are lurching toward us, the tall guy sporting only one arm, both seemingly missing lips. Their yellow, broken teeth chatter with their desperate need to eat. Torn and filthy clothes hang off their frail forms. Pasty, gaunt faces make their eyes look bigger. They are ugly things.

We went to Mcdonalds because this is my favorite fast-food chain. “What do you want?” He asked me. I looked at the menu first but as usual, I know my order. “I want a crispy chicken sandwich with large fries and coke,” I responded to him. “Large coke? Your family has diabetes! Regular coke is enough!” I pouted at him because I badly want large coke. “No!” and he said our orders to the cashier. Few minutes of waiting, our order has been successfully prepared and ready for take-out. We went out to the Mcdo.

But, she seems familiar with the name. "You call your boss with 'Uncle'? Won't he be angry if he hear that? Wait? Jhony? R Corp? You mean, Jhony Redorge, right? Jhony Redorge, a very famous and wealthy businessman? The largest shareholder of R Corp?" surprised Leona. Then the doctor ran in as we stepped back and Xavier growled as he was male, unmated and unmarked as far as we could tell. The bar looks spotless, and the alcohol bottles are lined up with military precision in glass cabinets hanging above the counter. This place is clean for a biker bar. Only the lingering scent of cigarette smoke and cigars gives it away. Behind the skull are huge black angel wings, and a blunt hangs out of the creepy grin. Above it reads "Highway Demons," and below: "MC" and "Nevada."

I've had a homemade burger before, but this tasted much better than the one back home. “Hey slow down their champ,” Mel chuckled, “We can try everything on the McDonald's menu if you like” I smiled though I was a little embarrassed about the fast pace at which I was eating, “McDonald's?” “Yea McDonald's, that's what the 'M' means,” Mel explained. “Oh, I see,” I sipped my drink slowly. “Ready for your ultimate makeover?” Mel stared me down, dancing her eyebrows. “I guess I am—” “Come on!” Mel tugged my arm, pulling me up from the table, spilling my drink.

“You’re crazy.” She leans forward, eyes sparkling with mischief. “Why? I should be screaming, right? Clawing at the doors, begging for mercy?” She cups her hands around her mouth and lets out a theatrical wail. “Help me! Customers mostly ignored it and I have always wondered why the restaurant kept the pile.
