You’ll like it,” patting on the book. That whole night he read the book with a tiny sleep of four hours in the dawn. He came back to the shop next morning, reading the rest of it there, completely drown in the book. He didn’t realize someone came in.

If she ever escaped this place, Delilah promised herself that she would get an indoor library in her house. If she ever got a house. She already got the extra room in her house filled up with shelves of books too, so that counted as a mini library. Her stomach rumbled and she decided that it was time for her to leave the library. She placed the books she had and decided to pick up a book titled Guide To Demons and another romance novel to read for the night. On her way down, she ran into Eriel. “Guide to demons?” Eriel chuckled. Delilah noticed how tall he was, as usual, and wondered if other supernatural species had that kind of height too. Was it just humans who were ridiculously small?

I tell him. Flavius nods in response and begins to pack his things. I fill my satchel with various clothing items and few books. "Why are you packing books?" Flavius asks curiously. "Since we are visiting another horde without sending a messenger ahead, I need to bring something that will serve as a gift. Those of the Horde of Fates are known knowledge seekers. I have many books in my private collection that have not been seen since The Fires. They should serve as a suitable present," I say.

She plucked the dandelion from behind her eyes and rolled her eyes. “Get back to work and stop acting like an air head. The head witch will scold you if she sees you slacking off,” Danica warned and tossed the dandelion Into her basket. Emmaline pouted, but quickly went back to work. My mind slowly reverted back to my thoughts and the harsh reality surrounding me. I groaned, hoping that I could get Dominik out of my head. I picked some more dandelions until my basket was full and repeated the same process until we had just about the right amount of flowers we needed.

Darryl’s smile fades as he looked at his brown eyes, remembering the first time he really looked into them. “What’s wrong?” Goldie asks as he shows Darryl the book. “You really want that?” He asked again, taking the book from his hands, “You could’ve chosen Harry Potter or something.” “Yes, I want this,” Goldie replies shortly. Darryl looks at the book cover and looks back at Goldie. “I guess it suits you.” After paying for their items, the two males exit the bookstore. Darryl looks at his phone’s clock and realized that it was almost time for lunch. He turns to Goldie and asks,

as if I understood it. I looked at one of the dandelions and plucked it. Downheartedly, I blew on it after I wished to "Please be alive, Dandeline." I watched the flying and glowing petals of a dandelion going away with the wind. "No, that was not enough." I plucked another two dandelions and blew the petals. "For the kids, give her back to me." I always feel inadequate as I watch the flying petals. I plucked five more dandelions. "Help her find her way back to me."
