“Listen to me, Rose. I’m not going to let her hurt you again. Cassandra’s gone too far this time—she needs to be stopped.” Tears filled Rosemary’s eyes. “But she has power, Damien. “I always used to think, seeing your cold and indifferent attitude, that you are reserve and conservative. I never thought you can actually enjoy something.” “So, what if the person is conservative or bond with the responsibilities can’t he/she enjoy once in a while? Damien watched as Serenity trailed a finger over his rose tattoo, her hand drew a 'S' like pattern where the stem was supposed to be; for a moment her actions had halted his breathing when he realised that she was looking at that one specific tattoo. He had gotten it for her obviously, not that she would ever know about it. He had made a good job of concealing it and it would take a real close look for people to realise that the stem of the rose was actually 'S' with some designed added to it; but it wasn't like he was walking around shirtless for people to stare at him. Damon yelled, Instead of letting her go, he pulled her closer and she saw his canines elongating. “Mine!!” He growled, possessively. “Yes Zander, she’s yours but you are hurting her,” Damon spoke, “Look at what you are doing,” He paid no attention to Damon and dug his canines into the spot where her neck met her shoulder. She screamed in pain. He marked her. He was forced off her and Damon, Vilkas and other warriors were on top of him, trying to hold him down. Screaming at him to calm down. Rose fell to the ground, blood flowing down her neck.

He reserved a special glare for Rose as they rounded the last corner, leading to the corridor that housed Jasmine's office and almost walked into her. "Rose, I see you were released from the cell," Damon said as evenly as he could. He had a special hatred for the woman, she was the worst kind of snake, presenting herself as a respectable figure when in reality she was a cold-hearted bitch with arsenic pumping through her veins. "Have you returned to duty?" he asked in as civilized tone as he could manage.

The smoke, the fire, the lies—none of it mattered when he looked at her like that. His fingers brushed her cheek, slow and reverent. “I tried to stay away from you,” he said. “But you didn’t.” Their lips met in a crash of heat and confusion, need and fury. Her hands tangled in his hair. His mouth was urgent, devouring, worshipping. The kiss deepened, wild and consuming, like the fire roaring through the mansion. He pinned her against the wall, his hands exploring every inch of her with desperate intensity. She gasped as he kissed down her neck, her collarbone, pushing the fabric of her maid’s uniform aside like it offended him. Their breaths mingled in a haze of lust and smoke.

Rosa said, trying not to match his tone, one of them had to be calm, and it looked like she had to be that person. “Look, I’m sorry I’m just… I’ve had a rough day.” He said this time meekly making Rosa smile in triumph. “It’s fine, I fully comprehend that. I’m Rosalina, Rosa for short.” She said, stretching her hands to him. “Hello, beautiful rose. I’m Damon.” He said, taking her hand in his, he brushed his lips against it. Rosa felt her insides melting at not just his voice, but the feel of his smooth, slightly calloused palm and the light tickle of his mustache against her skin.
