Tobias went to confirm that Charlie had really died, then he howled to signal that the fight was over. “ Well…that was…anti climatic” Danny mumbled while brush the dirt of his shirt, but I could see him shaking. I gave him a big hug. Danny wiggled, “Oh my goddess! Get off! You said you would come back, but I almost watched you die, idiot!” He shoved me away scowling, suddenly acting like he wasn’t begging me to escape with him a while back. I saw Phoenix tense up from the corner of my eye, I gave him a look. I will not let him attack my brother.

The thick silver gate trapping me was violently kicked from inside, bent and broken by brute force! The dust settled slowly. Through the dim light, the phantom of an 18-year-old werewolf in a white shirt emerged, carrying me out step by step. Stunned, Ronan turned. He came face-to-face with the nightmare that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

The face that greets me is not the one I was hoping to see. "Hello, sweetie pie," Danny says, smiling. But I can tell it's fake, even though the only light source is the moon. Danny is dark-skinned. His black hair is styled in a low cut, and he has a beard. The Dolce & Gabbana suit he's wearing does little to hide his muscles. I'd be lying if I said he wasn't ripped. To sum it up, Danny is a gorgeous man, but even with all his handsomeness, he is the worst romantic partner I have ever met-except Jacob if I'm including that horrible human being in the running, too.

Instead, he gives her an appreciative smile. Phantom, however, does not have any qualms about saying anything. “Please tell me that I’ve died and gone to heaven. Because a beautiful angel is standing before me. What’s your name, Sugar?” Mal rolls her eyes and cocks her hip with a jeer. “Sorry, cowboy, but I have a boyfriend.” Phantom doesn’t back down, though. If anything, his smile widens into a sexy sneer. “Trust me, sugar, once I take you to bed, you’ll forget all about the boyfriend. Call me, Clint.”

“Hush now, angel. You’re safe. I’m not mad.” “Sorry.” She whispered. “I apologize. Concubi have nasty tempers.” I chuckled. “Is there anything else?” “Who is the Phantom?” Gunderson asked. “The Phantom is a prolific serial killer who’s been active for the last three years in the state. He kills trackers and hunters primarily, but has been known to take out guards from camps. No one knows who he is. Reports are different each time about his description. We’ve been trying to get him, but it’s nearly impossible. He’s careful and always deadly. No victim has ever been left alive.” Colin explained.

Instead of heading to the Sawyer pack's center, the car was now heading toward the Gronya pack. When the door was pulled open, I immediately saw Danny standing in the night. He was clad in a long black trench coat, his silver-white hair ruffled by the night wind. His eyes were cold and distant, like a winter blizzard in the North. As the Alpha of the Gronya Pack, he was terrifyingly powerful. Seeing me, he smirked. "Welcome." I pushed down the turmoil of emotions rising in my chest and asked in a low voice, "You're not surprised to see me?"

"The person you were trying to reach was unavailable at the moment. Please try again later." Danny exhaled as he stuffed the cell phone back again over the backside of his pockets. He listened to the song calmly as ever as he sighed and leaned over the frame of the window. He smiled at the numbness that he felt and looked over the outside of the mansion. He saw a familiar car and exhaled as he realized that it must have been for Marian. He just closed his eyes and feeling the warmth over the bedroom. The breeze upon the windows slapped through his face.

It seems the kid had learned some caution, at least. “Boss?” Danny’s voice was young, and uncertain. “You wanted to see me?” I turned slowly, letting him sweat for a moment. He was twenty, maybe twenty-one. Scrawny. And very nervous. This was the kid who’d let Rylan escape a week ago. “Come here,” I said. Danny approached like he was walking to the gallows. His hands were shaking. I let the silence stretch, watching him squirm. Then I smiled. “Good work.”

Do you understand him?” I shift to get more comfortable and to be able to see Danny with both eyes. He is a prankster and does not discriminate. The wild look in his eyes tells me he is up to something and I probably won’t enjoy being a part of it.

I bit my lip hard enough to taste blood. The door creaked, and Phantom strolled in with his trademark calm, though tonight he wasn’t wearing his pristine white suit. Instead, black clung to his frame, sharp as a blade. His smile was venomous. “Well, well,” Phantom drawled, circling Damon like a predator. “How the mighty have fallen. You’re not looking so sharp, Damon.” Damon lifted his head, spitting blood onto the floor. “Go to hell.” Phantom chuckled. “Oh, we’re already there.” His voice dropped, sharp with menace. “Where’s the flash drive?”
