She forced herself to grow, to feel, to understand her nature. Her eyes opened suddenly, she couldn't grasp anything. Even as they did, her blindness made her heart shatter to pieces again. There was only darkness, but not her blindness. It was something different, something bewitching. She flew in one movement, she stayed at the spot. The blindfold flew away from her teary face. Opening her blind beautiful blue eyes, the color of the undead colored the vast weight of her eyes, even when blind, the whole was nothing like anything a spirit has ever seen. Shadows overwhelmed her once more and she understood it was already nighttime.

There was no day. There was no night. There was just darkness. Pitch black was all she could see. Well, now that Ella thought about it, she couldn’t really see anything. For all she knew, her eyes could just be closed, and she could be staring at her eyelids.

7 years ago "Doctor what happened to her?" I heard my mother's soft voice. "She has Retinitis Pigmentosa." I heard, what I assumed, the doctor "W-What is that?" My mother's trembling voice asked as I felt her hand grip mine. Something was wrong with me. Everything was black. I know for sure my eyes were open but I can't seem to see anything. I heard someone sigh. "M-mom, I cannot. I cannot see." I said as I tried to sit up but someone pushed me down. "Please settle down, honey while I talk to the doctor." My mother said.

Paetyn’s POV For a split second, my brain convinces me I’m blind. Darkness surrounds me, engulfing me whole and holding me hostage. But the soft buzzing working its way into the depths of my mind tells me that I haven’t been completely dragged down to the depths of hell with no sight of return. Not yet, at least.

BLINDED BY DARKNESS. Yseah keep blinking her pair of lilac orbs to the vast obscurity, but nothing seems to lit a light on her periphery. She found herself now trotting at the darkness without a deliberate destination. It was tiring. No matter how she walk, she would find herself to not be moving even after chasing the horizon set before her eyes. Where exactly is she? Is she having a dream? Or was it worse than she can imagine. Death.

I could feel little stings of pain in my abdomen which ignited my fear once more. This is definitely the end! I lost the only thing that makes sense to me in the world right now because of my stupidity. I lost it because of Mark. Finally, I gave in to the pull of darkness and gradually slipped into unconsciousness. ***** ***** Why is it so dark in here? I blinked my eyes to be sure they were open, and sure enough, it was. I can't see. Have I gone blind? I struggled to stand up until finally I stood on my feet.

He’s burning my sight away. The world goes white. Then black. Then… nothing. I wake again in darkness. Not the darkness of the void—but blindness. The absence of color, of shape, of orientation. I blink over and over, hoping, begging for light, for a spark, for anything. But there’s nothing. I am truly blind. It is done. Sebastian has taken everything—again. I curl into myself, sobs tearing silently from my throat. I don’t even feel the blood anymore.

My vision was slowly turning dark until it was completely dark and I suddenly felt numb as if this was all just a dream. “I’m sorry it had to go down this way,” was the last thing I heard as darkness embraced me with welcoming arms.

“It's not like that. It's not something you can get rid of. It's part of me; it's my other half. It's who and what I am. Don’t you see, I am the darkness! To get rid of it would be to get rid of me. I'm no good for you. I will only cause you pain and suffering. I am the darkness! I'm the monster everyone's afraid of. I'm the beast in the dark that children have nightmares of. I am the evil from the depths of hell and will only snuff out your light, little angel. You and I can never be together!” He said with a deep and rough voice. Smoke seeped from his body again, and a dark aura rose from his body like a shadow looming over her.

He stood up and put both gloved hands inside his pocket. Even her knees started to tremble beneath her pants, she tried to stand but she couldn't. Cold fear rushed through her veins making her mind to black out. "And then it will become hard for you to even step a foot. It'll get harder to breath, don't worry you're not going to die, just paralyzed." Dankworth slowly walk towards her. It's like he is doing some countdown before she met her demise. "Then your tongue will become paralyzed. You can't even scream."
