I couldn’t tell you what the characters were doing for the first twenty minutes. I was too busy counting how many ways I could legally escape this. Then, something happened. A scene came up—so stupid it was funny. Lilith started giggling. Not just light giggling. She was laughing so hard, she slapped my arm like I was in on the joke.
