Then, Johnson opened fire. However, the bullets were stopped by a powerful dragon aura when they reached the area of the defense formation and fell harmlessly to the ground.

And connected to the robot’s head by a thick bundle of fiber-optic cables was a glass isolation pod. Inside the pod sat Cassandra. Her eyes were taped open, forced to stare at a flashing screen. She was screaming silently, her body convulsing as her mind was ripped apart and uploaded into the machine.

And standing a few steps away…were two mechanical objects exactly like human beings staring right at me. My chest tightened. “What’s happening?” I said, not knowing that the statement had slipped out of my mouth. “Strange human being detected,” “Activation sequence….completed,” One of them said, his/her voice buzzing underneath, and her/ his hand twisting unnaturally. It was then, I knew what I had got myself into, they were…. robots. My chest tightened, and different sci-fi movies that I had watched flashed into my head. I, Robot, Terminator. Even that creepy M3GAN one. And now, I was the girl stuck inside one of them.

Then slowly… I smiled. “Told you,” I muttered toward Jacob. Beside the destroyed fake body, the second fake version of dada suddenly stood up too fast, its movements twitching unnaturally before its face shifted into something colder. Mechanical. Its eyes locked onto me. Then it reached inside its jacket. Jen screamed first. “DOWN!” Everything exploded after that. Gunfire ripped through the restaurant instantly as the robot pulled out automatic weapons hidden beneath its clothes and opened fire wildly across the room. People started dying immediately.

Pairs of red, glowing eyes started appearing all over the room as the monsters crept out from under the bed, each of them no higher than two feet. They closed in on him, causing his chest to pant faster, his breath to become heavier. “Daddy!!!!!” he screamed.

She was at the airport, busy sending Ian off. The system even streamed the live footage for me. I watched them embrace tightly. Ian kissed her, and though Diane turned her head slightly, she didn't pull away. To any onlooker, they looked like lovers torn apart by reluctant separation. My face turned ashen. I silently activated the robot I had long prepared. Then I closed my eyes and never opened them again. The system handled the disposal of my body. The robots glanced at her and their eyes lit up a red colour then shot her with the taser gun as well. She fell back moaning in pain.
