Though I was gambling with my life for him not to find out quickly, there was nothing I could do if he found out quickly. Even though I wanted to increase the speed at which I was moving, I found it rather impossible. The pain and weakness in my body made me unable to move faster than I was already moving. Selina's POV. Kegan lunged like a beast unleashed from hell. For a split second, the sheer velocity of his movement made Declan look like a doomed deer about to be strangled by it's predator, but then he moved swiftly, dropping low, barely dodging the punch that cracked the air where his head had been. Dust scattered as he rolled across the dirt and sprang to his feet. I guess the years he has spent training to kill Killian is finally paying off.
