For a second, everything feels calm. But Demon is awake. And he’s watching me. He’s sitting on the edge of the bed, body leaned forward, elbows resting on his knees, the muscles in his back tense, his jaw clenched like biting down could stop the words from spilling out. His eyes—so dark, so alive—are locked on me with an impossible mix of desire, guilt, and something else… something I’m not sure I’m ready to hear. I say nothing. I just hold his gaze.

Silas pulled me forward as he turned around. Just then, my head turned in the direction of the growl and I saw two red eyes in the darkness, slowly creeping forward. As it stepped into the light, I realized that it was a demon in its full form, while Silas' bat wings stretched out from behind me as he watched the creature. As it approached, its hands burned and its eyes locked on Silas.

I remain silent. He said flatly. Disgust. “Look dude I’m not into-.” Before I can grasp what happened the air in the room shift, he grabs my face harshly and clenches his jaw as he says, “Stop fucking playing already. The true form of the entity slowly emerged from the confines of the Demon's Box—a colossal being shrouded in a sinister blood-red hue. The creature had a humanoid form, yet it bore eight eyes upon its face. These eyes lacked pupils, each adorned with unique, intricate trigram patterns. At the center of this arrangement, where a ninth eye might be expected, lay a gaping maw—a monstrous oval filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth, making for a terrifying display. Its body was marred by tattered flesh wounds, from which oozed repulsive pus and blood, transforming into countless maggots that writhed across the ground.
