she breathed heavily. "But she can't do that to me?" Sophie scoffed. "The only thing that can end them is a knife. This knife will eject their soul out of their body and they will be turned to ashes. The knife is owned by a demon. You will summon this demon" she revealed. "I just have to command the demon to stab them, I don't need your power in that case" Sophie said excitedly. "You have to kill me with that knife by yourself. That way you will usurp my power. The demon must killed the rest, you can't combine two powers in one body" Sophie explained.

But I didn’t bother turning to face them as I kept my eyes on the demon who was trying to find a way to get the bullet out to escape. “Elena, Hana, we need to get you to the hospital,” I heard Joseph say from behind me. “I am fine, Mr. Joseph,” Elena said, “but Hana needs to go, I’ll be waiting with Alvize.” I shook my head, focusing on the demon who was in front of me for a second. I smirked and pressed the bullet back inside, piercing his chest. The metal was the thing that killed, or more specifically, paralyzed demons. And considering the fact that Lycans were demon born, it was the one thing that we could use to kill them.

It gurgled in surprise. I pushed it down and pinned it with my knee. “I’m gonna cut that smile off of your face,” I hissed. My voice was calm and steady. I felt strangely in control as I reached for the small knife in my pocket. Its distorted grin faded. The other demons leaned forward, eyes glittering. “Yes,” Alpha Demon encouraged. Toothy Demon whimpered and tried to dissipate and wriggle away. I pushed my essence into it, forcing it to stay solid. “Oh no,” I told it, running the blade of my knife underneath its eyes. A thin line of blood appeared, and I heard Lydia Demon moan in lust. “None of that. This way, it’s going to hurt more.”

The demon felt a grin and reverted back to its human form. “Phew, that was a bang" Galatrina surprisingly emerged at the demon's back. The demon was confused. It immediately transforms back to it's demon form. But what happened next was unexpected, the claws of the demon were stabbed in it's own heart. "Told you, I'll finish it quickly." Galatrina smiled. The demon tried to pull it's claws but instead it slowly deepens it's claws, destroying it's own heart and piercing it's own body to pieces. A shower of blood rained down. Galatrina held an umbrella which she used to flee elegantly while smiling.

The blade was curved, polished, and sharp enough to deliver a lethal stab to the neck, aimed at cutting veins. It was meant for slicing roasted meat, but Akira knew how to wield such small knives to her advantage. ‘Do it,’Aya, her wolf, surged inside her. ‘One move, and you'll kill him. Do it for Klax.’

On the way back, he saw Dean, his co-worker, the operational manager at the west end of the Tarso Property, exiting his office at the other end of the hall and walking towards Ariesta. "Desperate measures" Edzar muttered. He did not have time to warn the man because of his position behind Ariesta, but with steady steps, he made his approach to her. "Ariesta, if Edzar comes, tell him..." "Edzar's here. He's hiding behind the wall." Cut Ariesta while pointing at Edzar with his chin. Damn! How did she know where she was? Dean smirked. "You do this so he doesn't come close," Dean said.

He lightly jumps on his feet, shaking his arms as if he's just warming up "Oh, you're gonna get it!" I growl. I jump forward and manage to clip his back. He'd ducked. Turning, I see him pull out a sinister-looking knife. I jump away just in time as he swings it at me. But he misses. I get away a couple of yards. Something is off. The wound on his shoulder is still red and gaping, but the blood has pretty much stopped. Is he healing? How is that possible? Ghouls heal quickly, but not this fast. Or is there something else going on?

Kane hissed through mindlink, and I shook my head, my eyes glued to Knox "No! He has made his choice, Ace!" I snapped aloud for Knox to hear; turning on my heels, I headed to the door only to pause, hearing a clunk as something hit the floor and slid towards me; looking at the floor at my feet, I saw the dagger and finally let myself breathe. "If you can hear me, Demon, know I will find you, and when I do, I am going to let my mates use this thing on you until you are screaming for death. Do you hear me?" I declared internally, knowing he would hear me like he had before.

How could I tell anyone that I could see their deaths without sounding delusional? "I'm crazy, this isn't real, please don't let it be" I screamed as I found the right words to express my dilemma. She laughed hysterically and the room echoed. Touching my face, I could feel how cold her hands were as she sheepishly said "It's gonna last forever, this is a blessing don't see it as a curse, you've been blessed with a power that no one could ever imagine".
