I swung the dagger and waited for them to come closer. They were all demons. Their eyes were pitch black and their skin was grey ish, as if it had tar underneath. With easy swings, one after another, I killed all the demons. Once all of them were dead, I looked at the dagger. The dagger changed its size again. It was not short as a knife but also not long as a sword. It was medium size. I frowned as I saw it changing its appearance.

I stared at him while waiting for an answer. “It’s a Demon’s symbol.” My eyes furrowed at what he said. I stared at his eyes but he seems serious! But what? Demon’s symbol? I don’t understand. “D-Demon?” I stammered. He nodded and looked away. He’s now back on staring at the glass wall. I shook my head in disagreement. “Are you kidding me? There’s no such thing about Demons! I am finding the murderer and-“ “It’s always been the Demon’s fault, Majesty. They are just using the people to do bad things but it’s always been their idea to hurt and kill someone.” He said while staring at the glass wall. I am even more confuse now.

“That kind of hurt.” The demon steps back, watching. “What are you?” he asks again, tipping his head to the side. “I told you, she’s mine.” Lucas slashes the dagger through the air, cutting the demon’s throat. Thick, dark blood oozes out and the demon brings his hand up to try and stop the bleeding.

His strength was overwhelming, I collapsed to the ground, as my head hit with a thud. But I wasn't going down without a fight. Without sparing a second I grabbed it, and plunged deep into his chest, his loud howls and cries of pain came slipping out as fast as his screams. And soon there were gurgles, followed by silence.
