Descendants Coronation Novels & Stories

he muttered, carrying me off the bed and toward the door. The bathtub was filled with steaming water and rose petals as if the servants had prepared it beforehand. He gently lowered me in and then himself. We both faced each other, and neither of us said anything momentarily. It went on for a few minutes until I spoke up. “Our coronation is coming,” I began. “Will the Mecianda royal family be invited?” I deliberately mentioned the royal instead of his family because I never considered them as one. He nodded. “Every kingdom will be here to celebrate with us.”

The resurgence of the monarchy symbolised a new era of unity and strength. Upon arriving at Ella's boutique, we were greeted by the cheerful seamstress who had been working tirelessly on my coronation gown. The dress was a masterpiece, adorned with intricate lace and shimmering crystals. As Ella made the final adjustments, I marvelled at its beauty. It was a true reflection of the regal image I needed to portray. During the fitting, Perry discussed the intricate details of the coronation ceremony. There would be a grand procession with wolf shifter leaders and dignitaries worldwide in attendance. The Council of Alphas would officially hand over their authority to me, solidifying my position

“Entering the hall is Your Majesty, King Zyden George X and his wife Queen Ellena.” The announcer said loudly as the couple stood at the top of the stairs. "Followed by their beautiful and only daughter, the heir apparent, Princess Hannah Antonette Ruiz from the Kingdom of Andorra." Hannah sighed as yet again her name was spoken incorrectly. It’s Antonyeite, not Antonette. She just fixed her navy-blue ball gown that the dressmakers had just made for her. It is her kind of gown. She likes to wear gowns that would really fit her curves.

The smirk never left his face while he said it. I kept the fork where it was. "Only about 4 months until the coronation." He continued, and his voice had the quality of someone walking through a familiar room … unhurried, knowing exactly where everything was. "If another scandal breaks, you can kiss that throne goodbye, nephew." I let each word land without showing that it had landed. Four months. The coronation. The word ‘’nephew’ said the way he always said it … with just enough warmth on the surface to be deniable and just enough edge underneath to be felt.

When I got there, I kneeled and lowered my head. “I greet your majesty, may you be guided by our ancestors and the god of darkness and have an eternal life,” I greeted him. “My demon friends and people… today, we have gathered to celebrate the coronation of my daughter, Princess Clementine, as she now holds the title of this world’s crowned princess… she, who has not been raised here, but demon blood flows in her veins, shall be treated as you treated me with respect… those who shall defy my order, those who shall defy the crowned princess, shall be executed without bidding them forgiveness… I now present to all of you, the heir to my throne, my daughter, Crown Princess Clementine Westernia,

I jolted in shock, and looked up to see a very unfamiliar man standing on the podium. "That is Chief Drakos. He is the descendant of the Dragon wolves. Their bloodline have been tasked with coordinating the coronation." Her voice was so shaky, making me hold her hand in support. "Stand!" Liam whispered to us, and Layla and I sprung up. I looked up to see all the dignified wolves in the hall, on their feet. "It gladdens me to coordinate the second coronation ritual in my lifetime." He smiled, and the crowd howled in excitement. Were this people being serious? Why was everyone acting like they didn't know the prince in question to be coronated, was missing?

They made a decree to search for the lost last descendant of the Royal Family for a limited period of fifteen years, and after that, if not found then they will decide for the next beholder of the Royal Crown to continue its Legacy of Rulership and Lineage to start a new era of the new ruler with all other new rulers from another kingdom of the world to maintain the peace and balance with the other worlds. But the truth is not as simple as it seems, because not all that was heard are the full truth of what was bound to happen. Trouble is inevitable because "Ignorance is bliss" and there's "Wolf hiding in a sheep's clothing". They didn't know, that this event is one of the most historic thing

Hushed murmurs started erupting in the air as people praised the craftsmanship and the way the legacy of both regions was preserved in the crowns. With her head held high, Luna walked straight up to the thrones. Darius declared that now it was time to start the coronation ceremony. The moment Luna lifted my crown off the tray, my heartbeat turned erratic. As it neared my head, the sounds of people cheering faded into silence. I could only hear the blood rushing to my ears. I held my breath when Luna hovered it over my head. And as she lowered it, my eyes closed and when she finally placed it over my head, a lone tear rolled down my cheek.

“I know you must all be wondering why the queen is to be crowned first before the king. I will explain that.” I looked at my father, but he was serious and looking at the crowd. I then looked at Aegen, he had a smile on his face looking at me. He then nodded and then I knew that he had an idea that something like this was going to happen. “Well, all know about the true royals, the descendants of the moon Goddess. We all thought they were killed during the war twenty years ago. But that was not the case as second prince Michael came back to us. I know you are wondering why he is not the one taking the crown now.”

"You chose the right side when it mattered most. Even if you were late but you still took a step forward to save your empire from her. That's all that matters at the end." Emotion flickered across Timothy's face. For the first time in years, some of the burden he carried seemed lighter. "Thank you." Kimberly nodded. The past could never be erased. But perhaps... It could finally be put to rest. ... The coronation began at sunset. The grand hall glowed beneath hundreds of crystal chandeliers. Music echoed through the chamber. Guests filled every seat. Warriors lined the walls. Nobles stood respectfully. And at the center—
