“But yes, I webt to school with Deimos. And Diana.” The last name comes out softer, heavier. Curiosity has me leaning forward. “And?” He smiled ruefully. “Deimos was exactly as he is now, when he wasn't with Perseus. Hi, I’m Ashthelyn. I don’t really have a last name, but I learned it is customary to take your parents’ name in this realm. My father is Luferine, King of Ethos. So I introduce myself as Ashthelyn Luferine, rather than Ashthelyn of Ethos, 6th daughter of his Majesty King Luferine the Ender. This world has many biblical senses of Hell.

Nine was their sacred number since it connected the nine realms that existed within Yggdrasil. “I choose Gungnir, the great spear of Odin, Angurvadal, the stream of anguish, Gram, who brought death to Fafnir, Freyr’s sword, to fight when I am weak, Dáinsleif, to inflict wounds that never heal, Lævateinn, so that my step will never falter, Skofnung, the supernatural blade, Hǫfuð, the great sword of Heimdall and lastly Mjolnir.” Malachi chose his nine gifts and the rest were returned to the vault. He had no idea, but he found himself saying, "I can fight." She nodded, finally looking away from him. "Good." They all began talking as soon as she turned away from him, Leonidas learning their names in quick succession. Hercules, he was a Zeus Familia and from the way he spoke, a High Family. The girl on him, Aellai, Artemis, he was not sure what she was or not. Then on another log entirely, two other people, Odysseus, a Poseidon Familia and Dido, an Athena Familia.

Her father led Athena to the altar, and she stood next to him. “Take care of her boy. You know who I am. If you dare hurt her. I will have your head,” Damien warned Azazel, and the man nodded. “Yes. Sir,” he agreed like a little boy. Cleon stood next to her dad. “Don’t you dare hurt my, Theia,” he glared at the man, and Azazel inched closer to Cleon.

"She loves turning them into animals, sometimes kills them or irritate their children." "Continuing, Poseidon the God of sea and earthquakes is married and so is Hephaestus the god of fire and metal work. He kissed my cheek, and I ran to tell mother everything about my day. Darkness fell over the dream, and I felt a dark pull. My heart rate quickened; my breath deepened. There was a dim light in the distance, so small I couldn’t gauge how far away it was. I walked and walked, and the light barely changed. I began to panic and felt like I was drowning. A box appeared around me and started filling with water. I couldn’t break the glass; the water was being pumped in through a pipe too big for me to block with anything. Then a light turned on, and in front of the box stood Claire, Lucas, and Dan. I began to lift with the rising water. It wasn’t long before the box was almost full, and I took my
