Coronation Of A Disaster

Coronation Of A Disaster

Made you a target. I had spent my whole life building walls. I had used sarcasm as a shield and cynicism as a sword. I had told myself I didn't need anyone. I was Marigold Forbes, the Disaster Daughter. I didn't need a savior. But lying here, staring at the man who had taken a bullet meant for me, the walls didn't just come down. They disintegrated. They were gone. There was no shield left. There was only the raw, bleeding truth.

I AM NO HERO

I AM NO HERO

I enjoyed watching her fight back but if there was one thing I was good at us, it was hiding my emotions. Things were going great till the fucking elevator got stuck and I was taken to that dark place again. The memories assaulted me and I had a fucking meltdown. I can't still believe I did that, also in front of Abigail. I could have fucking hurt her! I could have hurt her but instead she stayed! She saved me, just like she did all those years ago! Fuck, this is all driving me crazy! I need to take the edge off! I thought to myself as I fished for the phone in my back pocket and dialed the number of the one person I know can help me in times like this.

Wounded Hearts

Wounded Hearts

The news reporter said. "Hero, that's what they call you, a hero" he said on the phone. "Even though I'm pissed off with you risking your life, I'm so proud of your bravery" Dario said on the other side. I stayed silent as I watched the news, too shocked to answer. My heart filled with pain hearing about those injured children and the teachers who had lost their lives. Curse those people who had caused the fire.

The Transferees

she heard him yell at them before coming back into the house. She just followed him to the cafeteria where he opened the door and windows for them, and arrange some tables and chairs for them to use. They looked at each other when they saw not only four classmates but their whole class standing in front of the eatery. "Come on in!" Hero invited them. "Wow! You do live together," Darwin said in disbelief. "Yes. Actually, I'm just a freeloader here," Hero replied. "It's a long story. Don't ask about the details."

Suzanne could tell Ethan wanted to say something so she shut him a glare and he swallowed down the comment and looked away. Ashley didn't notice anything that transpired between them as she went on reading, "The Class 'M' missions is all about heroes solving cases of fireoutbreaks and other emergencies, also patrolling of the country's border, taking on highway robbers and prison escapees, also patrolling the various segments in Malk." "The Class 'X' missions is all about solving crime cases, getting intel on enemies, being undercover, watching top important kids, like kids of other heroes. Also protecting the mayor during speech. Part of Class 'X' mission is being CIN and supervising the ne

The Real Heroine Logs In

She nodded again and again, taking the badge with both hands, her voice breaking. "Thank you, Eleanor. Thank you!" The comments exploded again–this time in gold. [Damn! That level of grace; insane!] [This is what a true female lead looks like–lifting someone out of the abyss instead of holding a grudge!] [Girls help girls! I'm calling it–this is the most hype esports story of the year!] [Orion team, let's go! Win the championship for Janet, too!]

Hero is also the strongest class, I trained a lot alone or with other kids and never got beaten. The world is in danger, they say, hope is crumbling, they groan, a world like this is not Hell, it is a Hero's dream come true! But life is also a path paved with ridiculous complications. "Among the emissaries? The strongest would be the Avatars." That's what an adventurer who stopped by my village told me when I asked him about the strongest heroes. Was I not clear enough? Did he really think I was speaking rhetorically?

Alpha Victor

Alpha Victor

"Yeah, he's my real-life hero." Quade hummed and his playful grin morphed into something a little more sinister, "I'm not much of a fan of heroes. I've always told my girl, it's the villain that will burn down the world for you, damn the consequences." "That's a bit extreme." Quade shrugged, "Sometimes people need to feel an extreme kind of love." Victor glowered at Quade. This time he didn't ask for my hand, he took it and weaved our fingers together before baring his teeth as his friend.

Larissa
I think for now, Victor’s book is my favourite. I love the simplicity of the situation that is quite complex but down to earth. I can’t wait to know what will happen with Sydney as well. I guess they’ll meet at some point. I’m happy Victor is putting himself and his needs first. Finally!
Caribbean Princess
The storyline thus far have been outstanding, except for the fact that this book is INCOMPLETE with no UPDATE in sight. This author even had the time to advertised another UPCOMING series which has 2 COMPLETED books but the LAST and most needed damned book of this series isn't done, the nerve.

Fated Disaster

Fated Disaster

If this continued for a bit longer, I knew I could hardly hold on. "Hahhh!" Someone suddenly attacked the enemy from the back and he collapsed. "Huh? It's...you...You're still alive...huh?" He turned around and muttered as he lost his consciousness and went down. "MOM! ASTRA!" I ran towards them and grabbed them by one shoulder each. "Thank the Moon Goddess! I was scared! So...so scared." I tried not to show it but my grip tightened on their shoulders and my voice shook. Mom placed her hand over mine and removed it from her shoulder. Gently, she took my hand in both of hers.

Obsessed with His Unwanted Mute Bride

Saw the family as victims who fought back. The narrative was shifting completely. At the compound, Diro and Beverly watched the coverage together. "They're calling you a hero," Diro said. Beverly shook her head. Signed: "Not a hero. A survivor. There's a difference." "Same thing sometimes." "No. Heroes choose danger. Survivors endure what they didn't choose. I didn't choose any of this. I just survived it." "Then you're a survivor hero." Beverly almost smiled. "That's not a thing."
