Even without Zonian abilities, he knew Lenato was seizing them up. John then swallowed and coughed heavily to crush his voice, making it sound as if he had cried nonstop.

Then out of thin air five Rogues all jumped at once and attacked the King. I lay down my daughter to safety as both the King and I shifted to our wolves. Getting caught off guard the King fell on the ground. Five Rogues were on top of him. His pure white fur became red as it got tainted with his blood, I managed to pry off and kill one on top of him.

King Elphaim's angry command sparked the chaos that Tori and Prince Cory waited for. As Tori whistled, the colorful glass window at the top of the courtroom shattered when a gray-feathered hawk flew towards the king. The royal knight's sword swung to the hawk which the latter avoided with its agile control of wings. Its target within its sharp claws, the king's crown. "Bring that back to me!"
