LOVE BENEATH THE OAK
The drumming seemed to awaken something deep within, a dark energy that coursed through the air, coursing through their veins as they danced tirelessly to the beat, the shackles around their feets making a dangling sounds.
As the drums reached a crescendo, the dancers froze, their bodies arched in a final, dramatic pose. The crowd erupted into cheers, their applause thundering through the grounds. The drummers smiled, their faces gleaming with sweat, as the dancers took turns to dance. I couldn't watch the scene to my satisfaction as Mama pulled me away.
