He yipped with excitement, it ran through his blood and mine like wine. The female deer was downwind from us, grazing at the lake’s edge. Blaze circled the unsuspecting doe, keeping low to the ground. She lifted her head and her huge ears pricked up. It must have been something else that warned her because Blaze’s careful footing didn’t even stir a leaf.

My head felt heavy just thinking about it. And that’s when I saw it. I nearly tripped over it. A deer. Dead. Fresh. I blinked and took a slow step back. Its body was twisted unnaturally, like something had tossed it there after gutting it. Its stomach was torn open, the rib cage exposed and broken like someone had cracked it with a crowbar. Blood soaked the grass beneath it, and bits of intestine were spilled across the ground like a grotesque offering to the forest. It wasn’t a clean kill. It was savage. But not in the wolf kind of way.

After successfully restraining Keyara to the bed and administering a sedative injection, Keyara began to experience hallucinations. A strange illusion of transforming into a joyful deer leaping through the forest appeared to her. When the deer tried to flee, the tiger leaped faster, sinking its claws into the deer's body and sinking its fangs into its neck, rendering the deer helpless in the tiger's grasp, as if death was imminent, and the deer was ready to become the tiger's prey.

The next moment, a strong wind blew past. The deer felt cold. But looking around, there was no change. So it lowered its head and continued to eat grass. But when it lowered its head this time, its body suddenly trembled. Blood rings shot out from its body. In the next moment, the complete body of the deer broke into dozens of pieces, splitting in the air. It was scattered all over the ground. All the trees around it fell down at the same time with a dull roar. Whether it was the deer body or the trees.
