I wasn’t sure what I was expecting when I followed the spiral staircase up to Professor Dana’s office, but god damn, I sure as hell wasn’t prepared for her door to slide open on its own. Magic glittered in the crack as I crossed the threshold. The smell of fresh parchment, lavender oil, and ozone filled the room. Tall shelves lined the walls from floor to ceiling, overflowing with spellbooks, artifacts, scrolls, and, the least conspicuous of all, at least three magical familiars sleeping in jars I didn’t dare to get too close to.

She turned sharply, her cloak sweeping behind her like smoke, expecting me to follow. I did anyway. But I wasn't scared. Not anymore. The headmistress’s office was located on the top of the East Tower—a cold, circular room filled with relics older than any student at Blackmoor. Books bound in leather peeled with age, talismans sealed in glass, and a fireplace that never gave warmth. There was a desk at the center of the office.

"Sofia Alwell." When she's gone, I approach the glass doors. It's like a whole world in here, there are offices within offices, whole guilds dedicated to every immortal species known. Finally I get to Headmistress Alba's office. I am allowed in after a knock. Once I step inside, I freeze when I see who is standing across the room. "Mum?"

I mouth and then walk behind the Headmaster up the stairs. The Headmaster's office is on the highest floor of the building which I have never seen before. It appears all the same. Stone walls and large corridors with lanterns lighting them up. There are huge glass windows with a dome shaped frame. We walk past them, the sound of our footsteps echo through the silence of the corridor. The Headmaster stops in front of a huge oak double door and opens it wide with his arms. He turns towards me. "Please come in."

Covering myself up, I sat back down, choosing the furthest spot from him. He took off his t-shirt and threw it at me before he looked away. Gritting my teeth, took off the tattered remains of my top and I wore Dimitri's. Another hour passed in silence and pain for me before the entrance door opened. It was Dumbledore 2.0. But this time he was alone, his side bitches missing. He quickly began opening up Anna's door. Thank Goddess witches aren't affected by heat. Because I would have killed him. I really would have.

I never knew this side of him, I knew that he didn’t like following rules but not to this extent. From the outer look, it looks as though one is a huge well-built brick settlement. Above the door, there is its name written by magic. THE GREAT WIZARD is quite large, fire-lit, and stylishly luxurious. The ceiling is unusually high. The dining hall has several huge long tables, fit to almost 20 people each. The table's legs are shaped in the form of flowers. Near a big chimney, there is a windowless spiral staircase, I assume that it takes to the lodgings. I bet that the fireplace costs a lot of wood in order to stay lit. I deserved far worse. The office smelled of old parchment, dried lavender, and that heavy, suffocating scent of ancient protective wards… the kind that had been layered over decades, each one leaving its own bitter trace in the air. Headmistress Elara paced behind her massive mahogany desk, her long grey robes trailing behind her like smoke curling from a dying fire. The moment my boots hit the carpet, she snapped her head around. Her face looked older than usual, as if she'd aged years in the past few hours. The deep lines around her mouth twitched with barely suppressed emotion.

We stopped as Ron looked back and said-" We are here. Are you ready?" I looked at Felix once before nodding my head and heading inside the chamber. Professor Dunston's chamber was full of books and papers. It was a long time since I am coming back here. There was a big seated swivel chair. The desks are full of notes and small glass bottles of magical potions. Also, the room was not much tidy giving us an absolute vibe of an old professor's den. Soon Ron exclaimed in joy-" Found it" Our attention went towards him as we saw he was holding a small key in his right hand, showing it off to us. he said-" Come, We must hurry"

I rolled my eyes & walked off towards the building. "No worries, I'll throw your tray away!" Stella quipped as I walked away. I'll thank her when I get back down to the training field, but as of right now I need to focus on sensing the major power source on campus, because I have no idea where the Headmaster's office is. Atleast I can sense him so I can find my way there. I stepped in the building & knew that he was on the 2nd floor, so I found the nearest stairway & headed up.
