What if We Drown

What if We Drown

Not quite registering the question, she looked at her hand, which now rested on the wooden panel. Derek reached over and took the book from her lap, examining the cover and the blurb on the back. "Fyodor Dostoyevsky, huh?" he asked, proceeding to read the page that Ashlyn had bookmarked. "'But how could you live and have no story to tell?' That was him, right?" Derek asked, and Ashlyn nodded, a ghost of a smile possessing her lips. How had he known that? The quote was not referenced in the pages that he read. It wasn't often that she met someone who knew Dostoyevsky, at least not outside of her World History class.

Make A Wish

Make A Wish

I cannot stop when my fingers have danced on the black keyboard on the bed. My second novel’s character is named Eros Darwin — as the main character who has multiple personalities. I purposely gave Eros Darwin a psychopathic character in this novel; at least, he still lives in a world of fiction. “Eros,” I whispered as my fingers typed Eros’s name into the paragraphs on the flat screen. “Why is it so cold?” I touched the back of my neck because I felt something cold passing there and then spontaneously turned my face to the open balcony.

Into Dystopia

Into Dystopia

~BRAKOON~ Every detail of what happened in Dystopia after the apocalypse, was stuck in my memory. I never remembered the part about who I was, my history or anything else apart from the War. I was at war with some soldiers, brutally slashing their throats and diving my swords to gut out their bellies, I killed about a hundreds of them in such cold blooded manner, but the soldiers kept coming… in countless numbers. They were a huge army with purple striped armour, trooping from every corners of the battlefield and circling me at the middle. More than half of the soldiers were the Erisian creatures. I watched people with the same color of armour as I, falling off from horses without their head

I kept reading and reading non stop. Had no idea I've come to the last chapter updated ?? This is an amazing book! I wonder if Rikas went back to time, and isn't there a way to stop his future from what Sofia had seen??

My Boyfriend's Dad?

My Boyfriend's Dad?

Children running to school buses. Normal people doing normal things. We were not normal. But sitting there, in the dirt, in our pajamas, watching the sun rise over twelve red roses that would probably die... We were something. I did not know what. But I was not going to leave until I found out.

This is a remarkable work. The author laid it in a super comprehensive manner with highly descriptive words, thus, the every events just keep on popping in my head like they are being performed in front of my eyes. Also, the plot is full of surprising turns. Dive in to this novel for an adventure.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Flower Garden

Flower Garden

They also have church and prophets . But the thing is there is severe famine in the outskirts of the city . Even though they worship flowers they're not sweet and pleasant as flower. they're cruel and brutal . don't even hesitate to kill a person. Ah"What am I gonna do?". "My lady, are you alright? shall I call the doctor?"she was asking with a worried voice "NO". I screamed. In this novel , killing a person is normal for them , if they find out , I'm not DAISY PERENNIS , surely I'll be killed . Moreover Duke and his son (my elder brother) are protective of daisy.

Dropped Into a NSFW Novel and Immediately Became His Obsession

Dropped Into a NSFW Novel and Immediately Became His Obsession

“Come on. I’ll take you upstairs to rest.” He stood and guided her toward the stairs. Finn and Calvin exchanged a look. Then they followed right after them. God, I wanted to go eavesdrop so badly. Linda, sitting beside me, muttered under her breath, “Slutty bitch.” That jogged my memory. There was a drugging subplot around this part of the story. If I remembered correctly, Linda was the culprit. She had been secretly in love with Calvin for years, but Calvin only had eyes for Nancy. In the original novel, she managed to drug him, but afterward he turned the tables and dosed her ten times worse, leaving her stranded with no help. She ended up with a terrible fate.

The Mafia's Mercy

The Mafia's Mercy

But there’s some deeper, perhaps childish part of me that’s taken this as much more: Marcel’s been absent for weeks and the day of my 25th birthday is no different. I sigh, trying to lose myself in the well-worn pages of my copy of Laisha Gardner’s ‘I Am Mustafin’, a story I’ve read countless times before. It’s a favorite of mine, a dark romance dystopian novel of love, loss, and survival set against the backdrop of a war-torn world. I’m so engrossed in the story that I barely register the sound of the door opening. As the familiar figure steps into the room, my heart leaps into my throat.

The Taste of Submission

The Taste of Submission

He followed moments later, his body going rigid, his groan deep and resonant as he filled me with his warmth. We lay there for a long time, the sheets tangled around us. He pulled me close, his arm draped over my waist. I closed my eyes, feeling the afterglow of the encounter, the peacefulness settling in. But the anonymous writer's words still echoed in my mind, a reminder of the fire that had been lit. I knew that I would never be the same, that the quiet, shy girl who had read the diary was gone. I was a woman who had discovered her own power, her own desires, against the backdrop of a rainy night in a strange apartment.
