The scorching asphalt was so hot that the zombies’ flesh sizzled the moment they hit the pavement. Many of them became stuck directly to the melting road, writhing helplessly without being able to move.

Eden, however, stood right behind the dead bitch, stared at her step-sister with zero emotions and munched on a heart as if it was an apple.
