she muttered, narrowing her eyes. Before she could say anything more, a shadow approached us from the side. “Ladies,” came a smooth voice. I turned to find Edmund, shirtless and glistening slightly with sweat. He had a towel slung over his shoulder. His blond hair was damp. Vivi nearly choked. “Who is that?” I rolled my eyes. “Don’t start.” Edmund smirked. “I don’t believe we’ve met.” “This is Vivi,” I introduced. “Vivi, this is Prince Edmund. He’s staying with us for a while.”

EMBER's POV I was sitting on the couch reading when I heard a knock at the door. I jumped up since I was in the book, I groaned a little and went over to peep through the little window. It was Xander. The corners on my lips turned to a frown and I held the handle contemplating if I should let him in or not. He knocked once more, “Ember please open up” his baritone voice came melting the ice a little making me open the door.

I chuckle, trying to figure out which book I'll have to pretend to read while thinking of how to get into the archive. I lean closer to the table, snatching Ivy's book from her. "Hey! I'm about to read what happened to Edmund!" I look at the cover of the book. THE REVOLUTION: DIVISION OF OUR PARANORMAL WORLD I glance into the page she's reading. Carla pushes Edmund to the wall, her mouth crashing on him with fervent passion. His hands roam- The book is snatched out of my hand. What in the world?! I couldn't read the entire thing, but the brief scan of that page alone was basically written p**n.

Placing the tray aside, Alexander came more closer to me, than he already was, before smiling a goofy smile. "You are soo desperate to know who I am. Right?" Alexander asked, making me nod my head in anticipation. This is what Bella did in that twilight movie. This should work, right? "Well, your wish is my command, my love." He said before his eyes started to change color into a shade of hazel and then red, and his canines started to elongate once again. The sight was like a horror movie for me. I never imagined I would see someone like Edward in real life.

Edward then told him she had just left for Soule, the northern region, to visit close friends she considered family. Edward looked as confused as ever by the news of his brother’s remarriage, but tried to work through it. He was reading ‘The Orchard,’ and he has been doing this for almost six moons. Despite the book not being the biggest he’d ever read, he couldn’t comprehend it as fast as he did the others. Xavier nodded and moved to sit down at his desk. “Yes, I need you to be my best man.” “Your best man,” Edward repeated, closing the book and dropping it onto the table, having found a reason to let it go.

“Why can I not read? When I became your friend, I read too, and with Lucy—” Edmund was about to say something when Morgan interrupted, "Yea, yea, when you first found out about Lucy, you turned my entire damn apartment into a giant library, and trust me on this, Jimmy and Charlie, no one is willing to take those books even for free, and if I say I have thousands of books about how to be a good big brother, I have a whole unique collection in my apartment, and now, I started seeing those books again, and this time they are in smaller numbers but—" Morgan was about to say something when Edmund interrupted him.

* * * I haven't seen Ember the whole day, I've gotten so used to her presence that I can sense the emptiness when she's not around. After taking off my running clothes, I settle for comfortable sweatpants and a tank top, then pile my hair up in a messy bun on top of my head. I pull out the Lycan book alpha Haiden gave to me and run my fingers over the cover. Taking in a deep breath, I open it and start reading the first page. I need to read the whole book and compare it to the vision I had back in the cave. I don't know how long I've been reading the book but as soon as I flip the next page, a knock comes at my door, before i can answer, Aamon steps in. I don't even know why he bothers knock

I know should trust Edmund and Ameera, I should have waited for them to come back and tell me why they left without my permission. But I couldn’t stay back because of what Amelia said about Ameera. She called Edmund her lover, and she said Ameera was all over Edmund as they went through this path. I’ve seen Ameera flirting in a club one time and I know what it is like for her to be all over a guy. I can’t stop picturing her and Edmund in my head, and that is why I really had to sneak up on them to see what was going on. I walked so slowly, trying not to make any sound as I approached the stream. I know I should be used to seeing Ameera acting all naughty, but nothing prepared me for what I s
