The storm quieted instantly. Silence dropped heavy and unnatural. George stepped forward, aura flaring. “State your name.” The figure lowered the hood slowly. My lungs stopped working. Edward. But not the Edward I remembered. His eyes glowed faintly with something not entirely wolf. Silver veins traced faint lines beneath his skin, like cracks in ice. He looked older. Sharper. Consumed. Viola inhaled sharply behind me. “Edward…” He did not look at me. He did not look at George.

All of it told Sarah that the piece of human leg she was seeing wasn't fake. Sarah gasped for air, the flashlight slid off from her fingers. She falls back, gasping and wheezing as she stumbles backward, her widening eyes staring directly to the leg that became more visible because of the flashlight harboring it. Only then did she manage to let out a scream.

He’ll just introduce me as his niece to his business partner, acquittance or friend…or whatever… I took in a deep breath and slowly peered back at the spot in the parking lot that Edward had been standing. I blinked rapidly at the even more shocking sight that welcomed me, Edward was kissing the woman passionately as they made out in broad daylight. Wait, or was she the one kissing him?

It was a reply from Twilight in response to his announcement about leaving tomorrow. Twilight: Can I come with you? Eric's mouth opened, but no words came out. Her reply caught him off guard. His fingers flew across the keyboard as he replied. Eric: No, you can’t. Twilight: Why not? Eric exhaled. He couldn’t explain this over text. He’d have to see her. Another message popped up. Twilight: Ah, I forgot for a moment I was exiled. I'm sorry. But I hope you take long. Where are you? We have a movie to watch together, remember?

Edward went to get us the ticket and I stood awkwardly at the entrance. "Hey" he said as he walked towards me. "Hey" I smiled "I think this is a ticket for 'blade Trinity' that's OK?" he asked and I nodded he took my hands in his and walked in. "OK are you seeing how fake their teeth are?" Edward scoffed as he chewed his popcorn. "It isn't that bad " I tired to stifle my laughter. "It is bad I mean look at that woman her hair Jezzus" I laughed out loud earning looks from some people.

And soon, she’d realize just how dangerous that was. Edward lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, the faint hum of the city filtering through the windows. He had won. Abigail Elijahhad signed her soul away, and tomorrow, she would step into his world...not as a wife, not as an equal, but as something far beneath him. The thought made him smirk. He reached for his phone, checking the time. Three hours until dawn. It didn’t matter. He’d always been a light sleeper. His body ran on control. Power. Routine.

Receiving her sign, he then turned to Edward and whispered, "Let's wait outside." Like a robot with its power switched off, Edward did not give any response, so Dr. Wight mustered up the courage and pulled him out of the room. He only stopped when they arrived at the couch outside. He glanced at him but dared not say anything. Sitting on the couch, Edward reached out for a cigarette on the table. It took him quite some effort to light up the cigarette with his trembling hand. He took a drag on the cigarette, and all of a sudden, before Dr. Wight could do anything, he fell off the couch onto the floor, coughing and sneezing profusely as tears streamed down his face, making a scene.

Like I'm form a completely different world, a perfect one, and then tossed into a harsh one I'm not going to lie. Reality sucks! Edward is standing beside a black range Rover, waiting for me to get to him. I look around, afraid there's probably someone somewhere, filming all this. Afraid that microphones and flashlights might appear and uncomfortable questions start flying in the air. “Don't worry, you're safe.” Edward’s voice snaps me back, like he just read every thought in my brain. “No paparazzi are allowed to get close to Gavin’s homes,” he assures me.

Immediately, I noticed the glass chandelier I tripped over. I rolled my eyes playfully. "'My favorite room, huh? Ha-ha." "What? I thought you liked this room," he teased, opening the blinds. As soon as he did, the room lit up with the sun’s natural light. Darick walked to a nearby table and picked up a picture frame. "This is Edward,” he said, handing me a picture of a tall, slender man with long black hair and golden eyes that you would see in a wolf. "He looks angelic," I said, staring at the picture in awe. He really did—almost otherworldly, in a sense.

Mary awoke with the knowledge that she wasn’t alone in the tiny chamber she’d been sleeping in. Her nape prickled and she carefully opened one eye to see Edward Woods standing in the doorway. Sunlight peeked through the window, penetrating the gap in the furs. The light somehow made him more ominous than if he stood cloaked in darkness. In the light, she could see how big he was. He made a menacing portrait, framed by the doorway he barely fit through.
