A Second Chance For Love

A Second Chance For Love

“Huh?” Elizabeth laughs. “It’s okay. I don’t really have any plans other than showering and reading a chapter or two from my book.” “Are there zombies in your book?” Edward’s eyes widen. “Actually, yes.” Elizabeth fills her plate and joins us at the table. “It’s a romance set in the zombie apocalypse. It’s really good.” “Can you read it to me?” “When you’re older.” She smiles and then digs into her food. We eat in silence, and I’m a little jealous of the innocent way Edward is completely oblivious to how fucking awkward things are right now.

The Runaway Maid: Pregnant with the Billionaire's Baby

The Runaway Maid: Pregnant with the Billionaire's Baby

Their low voices and unfamiliar gestures fueled her curiosity further. Thomas Sterling and the woman exchanged documents and photographs, speaking in low tones. Elizabeth strained to hear snippets of their conversation. She caught mentions of business transactions, financial dealings, and references to locations that sounded unfamiliar to her. The complexity of it all was baffling. As the conversation continued, Elizabeth's determination swelled. She was resolute in her quest to unravel the truth, to understand why her husband had felt compelled to involve himself in this world of secrets. She had a growing sense that this Thomas of a person held the key to the web of secrets that extended

The Billionaire’s Reluctant Bride

The Billionaire’s Reluctant Bride

She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. Walking back inside, she passed a few maids tidying up the living room. They greeted her with polite smiles, and she returned the gesture before heading to Ace’s nursery. She found him sound asleep, his tiny hands curled into fists. Elizabeth had decorated the nursery in soft pastels, filling it with warmth and love. Elara stood by the crib, watching her son’s chest rise and fall. *** The concrete walls of the women’s correctional facility felt cold and unforgiving. Elizabeth walked with measured steps, her elegant demeanor unchanged despite the stark surroundings. Her purse was carefully arranged, her posture impeccable - a testament to the

Marked By Hell

Marked By Hell

She did not want to be accused of believing in protection that was not sanctioned. When she stepped into the street, the village was already awake. Not bustling—never bustling anymore—but alert in a way that set her teeth on edge. People spoke in pairs now, never alone. Heads bent together, then lifted as she passed. Conversations stopped. Not abruptly. Politely. Elizabeth nodded to those she knew. Some nodded back, stiff and distant. Others pretended not to see her at all. She made her way toward the granary first. The line was shorter than it should have been. Several families had not come at all.

Dear Elizabeth

Dear Elizabeth

she moaned when his lips found its way to her neck. Elizabeth's eyes closed when Aleksander slowly stripped her gown, revealing the fairness of her femininity . She had never done this before but based on her mentors' stories about love and romance, she already had a few ideas on how to arouse a man. Brave as she could ever be, Elizabeth pushed Aleksander away from her. And let her gown slip on her legs, leaving her bare womanhood to the General's eyes.

The president's house has a lovely wife

The president's house has a lovely wife

The Elizabeth family's house is different from the Levi's, the Levi family lives in a suburb away from the bustling city, occupies a very large area, and is extremely quiet. And the Elizabeth family lives in a villa in the center of Y city. Grainne arrived in front of the Elizabethan mansion, hesitated for a moment, then rang the bell. Soon someone opened the door. The one who opened the door was an old woman about fifty or sixty years old, slightly fat, wearing a pair of old glasses with strings, her hair was carefully combed behind her head, looking like a very neat and strict person. She ran her eyes over Grainne's body and let her in. The old woman just took her into the house and said:

Elizabeth: The Great Reckoning

Elizabeth: The Great Reckoning

The draw of books was too great, and despite knowing their time was limited, they continued to walk through, gazing lovingly at the bound tomes. "Amanda! It's a first edition!" Ellie had pulled a book from the shelf and was showing it to Amanda. It was a first edition Wuthering Heights manuscript. Amanda gasped as she walked up to Ellie and stared lovingly at the leather-bound pages. Ellie was practically drooling when Jake came up next to her. "Find something you like?" he asked cheerfully. "Shhhh!" Ellie hushed him. "Is there a reason we're whispering?" Jake said quietly as he looked at the book in Ellie's hands.

Dragon's mate

Dragon's mate

‘Oh, my dearest Elizabeth, you have no idea what is coming your way. Later that night, when Samantha and John already left for their honeymoon, one by one, guests started leaving the restaurant. Since Elizabeth lived in different parts of town than Jenny, Martha, and Marie, she had to take a different cab while they shared one ride. They said their goodbyes, and Elizabeth was on her way to her apartment. It took her more than a half-hour to get to her street. After paying the driver, she headed to her haven, as she used to call her apartment. It was more of a safe space really than anything else. The first place that she got after coming to New York and the place where she stayed for all of

I love it! It's a light read. Couples should be like the lead characters - beings that know how to communicate their feelings: love, need, desire, anger etc. A couple that knows how to compromise... To the author: thank you.?I wish you good inspiration for your writing ?.More Power! Stay safe .

I like the story but wish it was a bit more realistic. There’s no way that someone would accept and fall in love with their kidnapper within a matter of a couple of days. Even if someone suffered from Stockholm syndrome it would take more than a couple of days.

Crazy Billionaire: What Do You Want From Me?

Crazy Billionaire: What Do You Want From Me?

On the desk is a computer, keyboard, a laptop, a cupful of pens, and some stacks of files and documents. There’s also an armchair in the corner. All in all, the sight is pleasing to the eyes. Elizabeth is a lover of books so she almost finds it difficult to get her gaze off the shelves. When she finally tears her gaze away, she’s met by confusion. There’s no door in sight. Then it hits her. In the movies, rich men always have secret doors behind their book shelves, or buttons that can be used to open those doors in a secret part of the book shelves.
