Penelope

Penelope

It was ever more clear to me having them both in the same room. He looked at Penelope."Big and brown. I got you a little something."He reached into the gift bag that he had brought and pulled out a soft dinosaur Teddy."My father mentioned that she likes dinosaurs." "Dinosaurs are her favourite."I stood watching her as she cuddled her new soft toy and then cuddled into him. Laying her head on his chest, I saw the look of surprise on his face that she felt comfort so quickly. Maybe she knows that he's her Father.

When you have to wait for long periods of time to read 1 short chapter it takes away from the enjoyment of reading the book. By the time a new chapter comes out, I have forgotten the other short chapters.
Madeline Crist
If Jamie is killed off in this storyline then what's the point. She's the fantastic female character that you want to know what going to happen between her & Mason. She's been through enough, now this tragic scenario ... happens. Come on now give her a HAPPY ENDING.

Star Dust

Star Dust

“Yes, you can.” He pulled her up, and then he pulled her close as the music went on. A slower song from the eighties that he would struggle with to remember as they all seemed to sound the same, but this would be something to him and hopefully her. He brought her closer to him and held her in the darkness of the surrounding night swaying to the song. When it was over, he looked down at her face as her eyes were closed, and she looked at peace for a moment.

she popped the top back on the bottle and jumped up from the carpet “and it just so happens that I have something that might help” Dawn watched her walk over to a small black box secured with a latch that was sitting on her shelf, nestled amongst the crystals and candles. Lena flipped the latch and opened the lid. Taking care not to smudge her nails, the brunette removed the jade pendant, tracing the koru/spiral pattern with her thumb. As she did so, she recalled the words the blind witch had told her five years ago. “This is the way to the heart of the forest guardian” Thinking about it, the Green Man could be considered as one since he IS essentially a forest god. Lena shifted her hold on

An Endless Kind of Love

An Endless Kind of Love

No one was even paying attention to her, but she still felt like she was wearing a neon sign with an arrow pointing to her for the mob to see. Dylan made his way to the bar. She recognized the bartender as Elena. Her long dark hair was pulled back into a ponytail. Dylan said something to her, and she looked up, meeting Bonnie’s gaze. She smiled and waved. Bonnie did her best to return the motion. She hoped it looked friendly enough. Dylan said something more to Elena before making his way back through the crowd to get to her. “Elena says she can get us the burgers to go in ten minutes,” he said, leaning over and speaking quietly into her ear so the other patrons wouldn’t hear. She liked how

The last thing she needed was someone using her as a shoulder to cry on. Someone settled in beside her. An old woman. Seventy maybe. Her scrawny face spoke of untold hardship than age. She smelled like Durian, the fruit that smelt like gym socks. Her hair, grey with age, was grubby and greasy. Clarissa forced down the bile that had found itself to her throat as she took in the sight which was the old lady.

Buried Beneath Sin

Buried Beneath Sin

“Somebody spilled the Atlantic.” He grunted. “People are idiots.” “Occupational hazard,” she said, and walked back into the atelier before her knees remembered how to introduce themselves to the floor. Inside, Elodie smiled, unaware of the way the world had tilted and righted in sixty seconds outside her tasteful door. “We’ll start the paperwork,” she said brightly. “A veil to match?” “Timeless,” Sasha said, and meant it like a curse and a prayer both.

LENA

LENA

“Not sure it's your perfect size but you are gonna have to manage it,” She handed it to me and stepped out of the room. Without a thought, I changed my dress and moved towards the mirror by the wardrobe to stare at my reflection. The dress was gorgeous, a perfect compliment to my jet black hair and blue eyes. A floral pattern laced the breast plates to my stomach. Staring at my reflection, I could only think of one thing, my mother. The way she'd brush my hair and sing a little lullaby for me. Everything was perfect until her illness, then everything changed. Elaine stepped into the picture and ruined the little memory I had of her.

I said and Joseph looked at me. “There’s something very odd about you,” he said and I smiled again. “Is he dead?” Dylan asked suddenly. “Yes, he got struck by lightning,” I said and Dylan frowned. “Are you serious?” he asked and I nodded. “How is that for karma!” Dylan chuckled and shook his head. “The odd thing is that I can mask my smell and I’m immune to wolf power,” I said to Joseph. “You lucky fish,” Dylan said. “Yes, I realized that because I’m a truth seeker,” Joseph said to me. I looked at him and then I switched it all on. I allowed Joseph to see the real me and I knew that he would hear the truth in my words.
