He was lying face down, and face up, all at once. I live in that house now. I am the village "fixer." And every night, I listen to the scratching beneath the floorboards. I don't fear the ones that crawl. I fear the ones that wait. Because now I know that the most terrifying thing in the world isn't death—it’s a corpse that refuses to close its eyes.

The despicable memory of the terror I witnessed in ‘The Tent of Wonders' remained etched to my brain for nearly three weeks, making me lose my appetite as well as sleep. Mum and dad along with my brothers started becoming worried about me, as I hardly ate anything much during dinner and remained awake at night like a zombie, staring outside the window. I couldn't manage to remove that repugnantly pathetic image of Madam Maxima lying in her chair, electrocuted. And whenever I closed my eyes her deathly face along with the figure of that evil creature hovered in front of my eyes.

Why did I agree to go with him. As if reading my thoughts he said "Don't be scared am not kidnapping you ,we will soon get there" I didn't say anything. After 5minutes he pulled over at a magnificent storey building I suspected to be an estate. So he was bringing me to his house all along. "Let's go in"he said. It was snowing so we ran in,the compound was beautiful ,we entered what I later got to know was an elevator. I have never entered one before,the elevator started moving upwards,to tell you the truth I was anxious.

There is just something about the dark that is so scary. I might be a werewolf but those ghost stories do scare the hell out of me. I kept imagining seeing things as we walked through the forest. A tree that looked like a giant person, a short person with a big head and no eyes. ‘Ahhhhh, what in the world is wrong with you? You are supposed to be the strongest, bravest she-wolf but here you are being afraid of ghosts,' my wolf said and I chuckled. I did that to wake her up, she had been too quiet for my liking.

Walking with Angelo seemed normal to them. Last Sunday, we watched a horror movie inside their house. I was so scared of the killer clowns in the movies, but he wasn’t even flinching while watching. He said those fictional creatures weren’t scary at all. What he was scared of was how dangerous some of the wolf packs are.

Holding my head, I feel dizzy, somehow, I could see my friends… their end… no… Just one moment I can see someone falling on the roof, and then someone gets hit by a car, someone was hit on the head, and in one moment there is now water… corpse… dead bodies lying on the ground, faces filled with blood, this is so horrifying… I want to vomit… This… this is ninth… But what is more terrifying is that all of them… I can’t see their faces yet I know who they are… Glub glub glub I can even someone coughing while catching her breath… and the shouts that were tearing my ear off me… gunshots and all… even the skin ripped by a blade…

Emily crawled on the ground, saw Luna Sandra, and immediately rushed towards her, grabbing her dress. The Fourth Stepmother’s face was burning. Emily, in her baffling state, suddenly smiled. “I saw... guess what I saw?” Luna Sandra laughed coldly and then looked at Emma, gently lowering her head. “My dutiful daughter, tell me, what did you see?” Emily opened her eyes wide, and her makeup fell from her face, revealing gruesome scars. “Scorpions, scorpions, so many scorpions... It’s terrifying... They want me to eat... eat them all... Ha ha ha ha!”

control! "I'm not living in yours!" Came my authoritative tone. "No one asked to." He copied my pitch. "Take the one beside mine." "The farthest one." "Take the store room then." Is it possible that i stab someone and not be called as a criminal? "Live beside mine. I hope you have seen those horror stories , based on true incidents. The whole villa would be as sillent as a graveyard, at night. And i'm a heavy sleeper." Colour faded from my face as a fear crept inside me, out of no where. What if winds blew and the windows danced with it? What if ....

Gemma Vivid images of the monstrous Arachne, its sharp fangs sinking into Stacey’s flesh and ripping her to shreds, filled my dreams like a nightmare on repeat. Her blood-curdling scream echoed in my mind, only to be drowned out by my own as I desperately shielded her from the creature’s attack. Stacey’s biggest fear had always been spiders, yet even in the face of this terror she was still trying to save me. She had always been the protector, but now it was my turn to be the hero and save her. My heart raced with fear and determination as I faced off against the Arachne, ready to do whatever it took to keep Stacey safe.

Michael said, “Sakura told me we could play hide-and-seek, or we could tell scary stories.” Akira thought about it for a moment and then said, “You know what? How about we freshen up and change into our pajamas and then meet up in my room. Then we can tell each other scary stories. I know a lot of very scary Japanese ones.” Michael looked excited. “Really? Awesome.” Akira turned to Sakura and asked, “How about it?” Sakura nodded. “Sure, that sounds fun.” She turned to ask Mary and Katherine. “How about you two?”
