If it didn't kill us, that is. All good things come to those who wait, and when you're a fairy and your mate is a deity, you have all of the time in the world. It's interesting trying to make that work amongst humans. Water fairies tend to travel with the open water and the location depends on the season. It makes it a little easier to appear like we moved away for good, only to come back and find out the humans have forgotten about us for the most part. It's amazing what a name change and new hair do can accomplish. If we happen to get recognized, we hear the 'you remind me of someone' or 'you look familiar' lines, just for us to shrug it off and act clueless.

The girl took out a brown-bound book and started reading the notes inside. Ana continued to go deeper and deeper. At the moment she hadn't found anything. There was not a single animal roaming around and nothing strange. Ana continued walking about five hundred meters from the entrance gate, Ana found a tree like the one described in the book. Ana stared at the tree and then read the note in the book. 'Two trees with carvings of five crescents that seem to reflect light.' Ana held the carved symbol of one of the trees. "There is no mistake, this must be the tree in book." Ana looked around, there was nothing special around there.

As our laughter subsided, Sophie wiped away a tear of mirth from her eye. "Okay, your turn," I prompted, curious to hear Sophie's magical tale. She leaned back in her chair, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Well, I once stumbled upon a group of mischievous fairies having a dance party in the moonlight. They were twirling and fluttering around, casting spells on each other." Intrigued, I leaned in closer. "What kind of spells?" Sophie's eyes sparkled mischievously. "Oh, they had spells that made everyone speak in rhyme for an entire day! It was hilarious seeing people stumble over their words and come up with rhymes on the spot. Even the grumpy old professor got caught up in it!

Silly high school stuff from a girl who claimed not to believe in fairytales but still expected her life to turn out like one. Even after she’d been abducted, such fantasies persisted. After all, most fairytales had a dark period before the happily ever after. Cinderella had to flee the ball, Snow White ate the poisoned apple, but the Prince always showed up at the end to rescue the damsels in distress. She spent many hours curled up on the cold floor, imagining Hank busting down the door, sweeping her into his arms, and carrying her out of this hellhole.

Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Synopsis Violet Fairy tales are just stories told to small girls, who then start dreaming about their prince charming who never comes when you most need him and then you realize the difference between dreams and reality. In real life there are only monsters and villains, who laugh and do evil things that you can't wake up from. Because your life is a nightmare you never thought it would be. I lived in that nightmare, and lost everything. My dreams. My heart. My soul. My body. And my voice.

She had never heard of them. "There are fairies that change each of the seasons. They start south and move north so we are their last stop. And here look at this, the fairies are all looking at this other woman” Rae looks deep in thought looking over the page then back to the picture. “Ok so this isn’t the same as the previous poem so I’ll have to assume each page requires a different method of unlocking the hidden meaning, though this poem is a basic meaning anyway, but this is interesting without any codes to crack” “What do you mean?” I furrow my brows reading the poem and looking at the whole page again.

Before I can get another question in, her voice changes into the special singsong lilt reserved for bedtime stories.
