My house trailed to the stairs which disappeared into two walls that contained the rooms. I was relieved when I didn't see Austin, I walked in fully and shut the door slowly like a thief. Having done that, I tiptoed to the stairs, taking each step like a buccaneer. I was about to take the last step which would lead me to the narrow way that contained our rooms. However, as I did, I missed my leg and fell, which caused me to roll down the stairs with a loud thud. ”Owwww!” I exclaimed and rubbed my butt. My lips went into each other and I unknowingly licked my dry lips in pain. I looked up the stairs I had fallen from, it was a long fall but I was more worried about Austin noticing my presence

I was halfway on the stairs already and my eyes flew open in fear as my body slanted backwards. I stretched out my hands in hopes of grabbing unto something to make me stable and I watched the smile that spread across Giovanni's face as he watched me fall with his hand outstretched in a taunting manner. My mouth opened, forcing out a scream deep within me. I was quick to guide my stomach with my arms as I fell down the stairs.

She screamed as she rolled down the stairs. Even though she was hurt from falling down the stairs, she quickly got up. But she suddenly sat down because the pain in her right foot, the one she slipped on, was searing. She was worried that Tyron might be close by, so she looked up the stairs. But when she turned the stairs, she was met with a strong slap from Tyron's hand, who had apparently approached her. The force of his slap made her sit on the floor.

Its four hairy legs swayed in the air. He fell with a thud to the floor and was unconscious. Rain is confused. "What happened? What's with that monster? Why did he suddenly fall?" The chilling wind and thick air still swirled along the corridor. Rain started to think and looked for the handle of the emergency stairwell. She began to struggle away from the creature. Rain descended the stairs one by one with trembling legs. Rain had only taken three steps down the stairs, and it was as if she heard something buzzing in her head.

The stairs were slippery because it was raining outside. She was walking carefully, but her legs were weak from hunger. She hadn’t eaten lunch because Tiffany spilled the food on the floor and told her to clean it instead. Step… step… Her foot slipped. “Ahhh!” She lost her balance. The basket flew in the air, and she tumbled down the stairs. Thud! Thud! Thud! Pain exploded all over her body. She landed hard on the floor at the bottom of the stairs. Her head spun, and she saw stars. Her arm was twisted in an awkward position, and she couldn’t move it.

Just death scary cold ass glare. “Aunt…” Jasmine said, but her words trailed off, catching in her throat. Her balance tilted and her foot missed a step. And suddenly Jasmine felt herself falling. Her body snapped forward, dragged by the pull of gravity. The stairs rushed up to meet her as she tumbled hard down the stairs, Her shoulder hit first—then her back—then her leg twisted painfully beneath her as she crashed down the steps. Her head slammed.Lights burst behind her eyes. Every sound turned hollow and every second slowed.

The image is intimate and damning. It is not supposed to hurt, but it does. My vision blurs and the world tilts dangerously. The phone slips from my numb fingers, clattering down the stairs. A strange ringing fills my ears, drowning out everything else. I take a step, forgetting I am still on the staircase. My ankle twists, and suddenly I am falling, tumbling down the hard marble steps.

As long as I was able I refused to let that happen. I rolled down one complete flight of stairs. I had two more to go. I pulled myself up with the railing and used the momentum to fling myself down the stairs. I stumbled and made it down the second flight of stairs. I could hear Monica’s menacing laughter chase me down the stairs. She was getting close. I had to keep going. I had one more flight of stairs to go. I brace myself to keep going. I fling myself, and I stumble and roll down the last flight. I made it. I need to get to the elevator now. I start stumbling down the hall. Just when I think I am going to make it. My hair is yanked, and I am pulled back.

She walked faster stood in front of me blocking my way to the stairs, then she started backing off slowly, heading towards the stairs. “What are you doing?” I snapped in frustration, witnessing her sly smile as she continually walked backwards until she reached the edge of the stairs. Suddenly, she let out a chilling scream and allowed herself to fall, dramatically rolling down the staircase. I stood stunned couldn’t comprehend what had just happened. She had fallen, and the chaos that ensued was overwhelming. She threw herself down the stairs and fell. She lay at the end of the stairs writhing in pain. “Help, she pushed me.” She cried.

I shoved her hard. I wanted her gone. I wanted her to stumble, to fall, to pay for everything. I didn’t care if she got hurt. I just wanted her gone. But she dodged it—fast, like she saw it coming. And then everything happened in slow motion. I felt the air shift under me. My own balance disappeared. My foot missed the edge of the step, and then I was falling down the stairs. I let out a scream as the stairs rushed up to meet me. Pain shot through my back and my arm as I landed, hard. Everything went blurry. My vision swam. I tasted blood in my mouth.
