The Rebirth of Love
I realized that I was finally letting go, letting go of the pain of the past, letting go of the fear of loving again.
I looked at Ariadne's portrait, my voice a soft whisper.
"Ariadne," I said, my voice filled with a mixture of reverence and regret, "I think I'm ready to love again. I think I've found someone who deserves my heart."
I paused, my eyes filled with a mixture of hope and trepidation.
"I know you wouldn't want me to be alone," I said, my voice barely audible. "I know you would want me to be happy."
