I knew I couldn't react to him and I couldn't jump off either so I wasn't sure what he was going to do to me. Would he actually jab me off the cliff or will he spare me and leave with his pack back to the camp? Those questions ran through my mind as I stare and the moment he got close, his paws didn't hesitate nor linger as he sprained his hands to my face, punching me hard enough that I fell off from the high cliff and while falling my body kept slashing through the hard branches of the trees downwards until I blanked out.

He pushed me, making me fall on my back and pushed Levi off the edge of the cliff. "Noooooo!" I screamed, stretching my hand at him. It was as though the crucial condensed into a mere crawl. I saw him glance at me one last time, his face contorted in fear, before he fell off the cliff. I was stunned. All I could do was stare at the place where Levi stood a few moments back. I couldn't find the courage to stand up and look for him. Just then, Austin and Henry rushed towards the redhead who had taken too long to leave.

The young pup stood by the edge of the cliff I had just noticed, taking in deep breaths. I did the same, waiting to see what happens next. The smoke stood still as well, but after a few moments, it crashed into the pup. The pup turned and fell off the cliff. And so did I, embracing a darkness that seemed to be worse than the one I had seen when I first found myself here.

The wolf was relentless, his claws came at me again, pushing me off the cliff. A fearful cry for help vibrated from my throat, gaining Asher’s attention. I could see the pain, and unyielding horror in his eyes as he tried to reach out to me but it was too late. I was falling already. I watched as he dived his claws into the heart of the wolf that had pushed me and before my eyes, he jumped off right after me.

In such weather, people hid at home, afraid to suffocate from the asphyxiating fumes, get lost and fall off the hill into the depths of the sea. The water seemed to calm. No sound of waves. I was all alone, standing at the very edge of the cliff. It felt like the end. I was too weak to defend myself and no one was coming to rescue me. Slowly but hesitantly, I stood up as I tried to back away from nearing the edge. However, the soft ground gave in and it crumbled, the moist mud cracked where I was and my feet slipped. My eyes widened as I was out of balance, my body fell off from the edge from a foolish stunt I made. Like the world was in deaf silence as I tried to reach out while my body was in mid-air. So, is this how I die? From a foolish failed suicide that turned into an accident. A hand outstretched and grabbed my wrist before I could drop farther from the cliff.

Reuben POV I’m falling down a cliff, falling and I can’t seem to grip on to any rocks at the side of the cliff. It’s constant, like gravity is pulling me down. Am I dead? Am I falling into hell? My stomach aches from the continuing drop before my hand manages to grab onto the side of a grass verge. This cliff never seemed to end. With a jolt to my new positioning, I stop falling and look down at my dangling feet. This cliff had no end and no beginning, it was just constant. There was no sky, no ground…just cliff.
