I felt myself falling backward, arms windmilling helplessly. Time seemed to stand still as I realized what was happening. My head was going to hit the marble coffee table behind me. The sharp corner was rushing toward me like a weapon. The impact was devastating. Pain exploded through my skull. Bright white light filled my vision. Then everything went black. But the darkness wasn’t empty. Images flooded my mind like a broken dam releasing years of trapped water. *I was standing outside Alessandro’s penthouse, my hand shaking as I pressed the buzzer.*

I'm tired of bearing it. The last thing I see when I lower my eyes is Alice falling and sitting on the floor with an expression of pure terror — and then, I let something snap inside me.

I just have to stay away from all the unnecessary attention and drama and I will be alright. And before I knew it, the tiredness and exhaustion suddenly weighed me down and I struggled to keep my eyes open. The world around me seems to fade away as my vision blurs, and my body becomes weightless. And before I know it, I'm plummeting into unknown depths below. I can't help but think; “is this the end?”

No one is there. Holding myself up to Max's tomb, I tried hard to get my form up, but it was a failure. Gradually the giddiness started to become worse. I felt like the things surrounded me revolve around me as the vision got more blurred. My eyes were getting dimmed and I could not see anything clearly moreover. What I could remember last was, my knees went weak as I fell over Max's grave embracing it as if my life depended on it. ********

The door suddenly closed and she pushed me to the big hole and in an instant, I fell. I fall and fall like there is no end. “Aaaahh!!!” I shouted because of the never-ending fall. I saw her watching me fall with her cold eyes and emotionless face. I keep on falling like I was falling from a very tall building. The pressure is pulling me down. I don’t know where my falling ends but this is better than getting stuck in a place full of agony and hatred. I keep on falling and falling and falling…
