The Billionaire's Borrowed bride

The Billionaire's Borrowed bride

I know the poor girl probably thought she had it bad, but I wondered what she would think when she found out that the very man whom had called to counsel her during her lowest moments, the man she called a mentor and a pastor also had a daughter who couldn’t adhere to the teachings of the bible and keep herself pure until marriage. “Very horrible.” My mum concurred, and I knew that this conversation was about to run much longer than I would have loved it to. “You know, it’s like I always say.”She continued failing to realize that I wanted nothing more than to end the conversation and cry myself to sleep. “When young ladies who are ripe enough for marriage do not take the necessary steps, the

Forgive Me: Marked By The Priest

Forgive Me: Marked By The Priest

Like he didn't believe what he was saying. A bitter chuckle escaped me, the sound low and cutting through the stale room. “So is lying and pretending. I listen to all your sermons, Father. I'm pretty sure that getting on your knees and opening that same mouth you use to condemn me to take my fucking dick is also a sin” I paused, scoffing. “You wanna talk about abominations? Abomination is pretending that you don't like the way I touch you. Abomination is lying about the past. Like you didn't know shit about Elias death”

Cthulhu Mythos In Cultivation World

Cthulhu Mythos In Cultivation World

“And… no offense, But from what I know. I don’t think that they invited you to go back to their clan because of the goodness within their heart or the want to show their love to you…. They just can’t disobey your gramps. Then why would you waste your time worrying that they wouldn’t accept you, your dad, or your sister. If they’re so great then why don’t you just tell them to fuck off and try fighting the upper realm sect as you did?” The room is quiet, everyone is just astonished about Aurelia's frankness. One must know that in this world they believe in filial piety even the one whom they need to show filial piety to doesn’t need to respond in kind. If nothing serious happens, most of the

I Never Regretted Leaving You

I Never Regretted Leaving You

Thea's gaze turned icy cold, “Kassidy, you can't do this." Kassidy said with red eyes, "Mommy, when I was little, I used to think that all children's mommies and daddies should live together. All mommies and daddies would love their children unconditionally. But now that I've grown up, I know that not every parent deserves to be a parent, and not every child should love their parents unconditionally. You want me to show filial piety to him, but has he treated me like his daughter?" "For so many years, he never cared about me, not even a single word of concern until his death. In his heart, I, his daughter, held no significance at all."

i think the author needs to focus on finishing books rather than leaving lots of unfinished ones that leave your readers hanging and we do not want that. you would gain more followers and readers if you can concentrate on one story at a time and finish each book. more ongoing than completed books
SillyRabbit
This is one heck of a story. It has romance, betrayal, revenge, time travel, robots and tons of dramatic twists and turns. There are some translation mistakes here and there but overall, it’s well written.

Remarried After I Secretly Divorced the CEO

Remarried After I Secretly Divorced the CEO(My Ex Begged for Me After My Tech Empire Reveal)

“An old woman at her age still worrying about her younger generation, and they even personally sent her son to prison. Officer, you must punish these unfilial monsters severely.” “That’s right. Filial piety comes before all else, and they don’t even know the meaning of it. They’re unworthy of being sons or grandsons. People with morals this rotten deserve to rot in prison.” Hearing those accusations, the officers exchanged looks before turning to Bowen, who had remained silent the entire time. “Is what they’re saying true?”

5 star is only so this comment shows !!! IF YOU JUST STARTED READING - STOP! Turn around and find another book! Nearly a thousand chapters and the REPETITIVE EVIL / VILE TREATMENTS of Autumn continues. Book title should be: THE MISERABLE PATHETIC SAD LIFE OF AUTIMN LEWIS !!!
Kasshi Gautam
I like the story, but after nearly 300 chapters there is no progress: repeated conflicts, no growth, no romance, no clarity, no regret, no revelations, just a stretched confusing cycle. It’s disappointing and makes me hesitate to subscribe since I may pay for more chapters without change.

Side Chick Era… Over

Side Chick Era… Over

He made the woman he loved suffer and step back, simply so he wouldn't have to face the reproach of his own conscience. There was a term called "outsourced filial piety." So was this behavior… "outsourced gratitude"? Was Thomas willing to be condemned by the world rather than allow the woman he loved to suffer even the slightest grievance? Cole stood there, dazed. For Sharon, Thomas was willing to be vilified by all, despised by both gods and men. Yet Lex, for Victoria, could never do the same. Could people like them really continue fighting each other to the end?

You are doing a great job, I love how Sharon is against the high society circle. The story does not feel stale and repeated antics like most books but this one you don’t know what happens next. I’m rooting for Sharon and her friends to stick the middle finger to everyone who thought so little of her

I love the book. Love all the twists and turns, and particularly Sharon's will to not act like a coy, delicate, helpless person. She did not even cry once. I am hopeful that her angle with Thomas will be explored deeper. He is a perfect crazy billionaire, who could actually be her equal. Unlike ML.

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

My heart beat fast, but I still wanted to roar back with the majesty of fatherhood. “Did you came here to see grandfather? Are you here to care about him? Do you ask about his illness? Do you know what kind of illness he is suffering from? He is lying on the bed with his life hanging in the balance. But you came here with your lover to ask about the property. Is that what a son should do? Is that what you call a filial piety?” This time, Ailina seemed to be really angry. Although she was disrespectful to me occasionally, she would only retort a few words, and it was only because I was too patient. Today she was roaring in anger.

it would be more exciting if POV only concerns ML n FL. it's a mess for me when all characters got their own POV. it's kinda mixed up n after a few paragraphs, another POV from other character n it goes on n on.

One good thing about this story is that the FL not only has a doting boyfriend but also a doting mother-in-law. Loved reading this very positive love story of a badass FL. one complaint would be this book needs a lot of corrections. It is a bit messy.

CLOWNY MISFORTUNES

CLOWNY MISFORTUNES

INDEED, PROMISCUOUS PEOPLE DON'T WANT THEIR CHILDREN TO BE LIKE THEM. She remembered when Pastor Jay - her Sunday-school teacher preached: "Fornication defiles your temple. It pollutes your body and makes you unfit for God's use and glory. Any man that commits fornication sins against his own body. Regardless of whatever slang they use to cover this act up. Be it 'fuck, knacks, hammer' or whatever. It is fornication!" "These words tormented her. She sat on the bed and wrapped herself with a big white duvet. She lost the feeling of pride she had always been feeling. It seemed to her as if someone had snatched a treasure from her. Gradually, the emotional pain she felt overclouded the physica

This is an interesting book with intriguing characters and premise. The author does well to draw the audience in and make them part of the story. The narrator feels very genuine, and I began to feel for him. Very well done.

Mhenn this story is Lit?. It keeps the reader drawn to the main character. At the first chapter I was already glued to how chuka's mistakes caused misfortunes to others. This is definitely a story y'all should read.

The Billionaire's Surrogate Wife

The Billionaire's Surrogate Wife

After comforting her in a low voice, he changed his tone, looked at Gian, and asked coldly, "Do you really want to keep me here?" "Since you don't understand filial piety, stay and learn then!" The butler had brought another group of bodyguards in and was about to hold Matthew down. "Filial piety? If my father is kind, then I'll be filial. If my father is not a human being, then I don't have to follow be filial." Matthew sneered and said, "You don't have to do it. I'll stay here. Let Roseane leave." Roseane raised her head and looked at Matthew.

Kissing The Wind

Kissing The Wind

"You don't know me so don't urge me to do things I can't do!" He went silent. I heaved a sigh and looked down. We stayed still for a few minutes before I said, "Please... d-don't push me." I gasped when Anthony pulled me closer to him and guided my head to his chest. He patted my head and hummed. "For God commandeth saying honor your mother and father, and he who curses mother or father shall be put to death." "What do you mean?" I asked, confused. "That you should honor your parents but do not follow their deeds. Respect them but do not obey everything they order especially when it is immoral. Sydnee, hatred will only give you nothing but restlessness. Indifference will only make you cold a
