Dear Reader Thank you for reading the first chapter of the book called, Sins Of My Body. Sins Of My Body was originally written as an Interactive Story Game. I am in the process of adapting it into a novel form. The original version contains a great deal of dialogue to fit the platform for which it was intended. Though you can enjoy the story in its interactive format too as currently published. (eg when Veronica speaks, the format will be as this: Veronica ~ “Let me go, creep.”)

The leather binding has fancy marks in it and has title imprinted on the front. "That first kiss." Ugh, from just the title you could tell that a teenage girl at the start of her puberty wrote it. I couldn't really tell if Nova's a girl or a boy, he wants to be called a "he" but then writes a full novel about a CEO obsessing over a girl. I don't know why Nova doesn't want to call it a book when it obviously was. Don't let the title fool you, the story slowly turns dark and twisted.

Meanwhile, Thor and Celina stayed in New York, enjoying their time alone whenever they could. It started as documentation and has become something else. I started writing it in the third person, the way I was trained — the subject, the operative, the source. Professional distance. But at some point, without deciding to, I switched to first person. I. Me. My choices. My failures. The shift was unconscious at first, and then it wasn't. Then it was deliberate. I wrote about the interview with the analyst and how I felt when she told me about Moreau's daughter. I wrote about the night in Singapore when I didn't know if Celeste would survive. I wrote about the moment in the kitchen when I told her the truth about who I was, and the moment after, when she didn't leave. I haven't told Celes

For the first time, Cathedra had someone who didn't cringe every time she opened her mouth to speak. So this is what having a friend feels like, huh? Cathedra thought to herself. One lunch break, while waiting for Diane underneath the tree, Cathedra was scribbling a draft of her first novel in her notebook. The novel contained the scenes she saw in the storybook, back in her kindergarten days. Since that day at kindergarten, she didn't tell anyone what she saw in the storybooks anymore. The thought of seeing things that other people couldn't still terrified her but she tried hard not to think about it by avoiding any book she can see other than school books and textbooks.

Novels, grimoires, Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson. Wait, what? The Emily Dickinson? She hid most of her poems until the day she died, but looking at this book, holding it, it feels like everything she had written is in here. It's a lot, there were still poems of her that I haven't read yet, I never knew about its existence until now. I quickly opened the book and the pages were amazing, you know that scent of old books? This one has it, that one familiar scent of home, of comfortability, of coffee in the early morning while it's raining. I stopped on a particular poem, one I've read over and over again. I'm Nobody! This book is my debut novel [ shrieks in incredulity @_@ ]. I can’t even believe that I have finished it. I originally tended this book to be a stand-alone. But, I become indulged on the own world that I created that I decided to expand it >_< .

Okay, let's discuss important stuffs that will enable us understand the book better; Point of View: First person's point of view(FPP) is employed in the story, and it sticks to the traditional "mono first-person view" throughout with the epilogue being the only exception.
