My husband, Mark Thompson, and I went hiking. After eating some wild berries I picked, he was poisoned and died. When I got home, a woman named Sarah Miller and her son, Tommy Miller, showed up at my door. It turned out Mark had given them our house and car. On top of that, he owed them a huge amount of money. I ended up giving them all the savings I had. To care for my sick mother-in-law, Judith Thompson, I worked three jobs. I was surviving on basic meals like bread and butter. After years of exhausting work, I collapsed in the hospital. Judith told the doctors to stop my treatment. Just as I was about to die, Mark walked into the ward with Sarah and Tommy in his arms. He tossed five dollars at me. “Thanks for taking care of my mom all these years.” That was when I realized Mark had faked his death just to be with Sarah and their love child. When I opened my eyes again, I was back to the day we went hiking together.

I bowed slightly and said, "Please, Mr. Jonathan. I hope you'll let me end my engagement with Conrad."

Hanggang kailan mo ipagsiksikan ang sarili mo sa taong ni minsan hindi mo nakitaan na mayroon din siyang pagmamahal sayo katulad ng pagmamahal na nararamdaman mo para sa kanya? Ang hirap. Iyong lihim mong minamahal ang isang tao at hanggang tanaw ka lang. Nakakapanghina. Kung sabagay, sino ba siya para mapansin at magustuhan ng lalaking gusto niya? Isa lang naman siyang langaw na sampid sa angkan nila. Ilang taon na ba siyang naninilbihan sa pamilyang Montefalco? Halos isang dikada na. Minahal naman siya ng pamilyang ito ngunit yung pagmamahal na inaasam niya...hindi niya pa naramdaman. Palagi nalang siyang nag-aasam. Pait siyang napangiti habang nakatanaw sa lalaking matagal na niyang iniibig. Ang lapit lang nila sa isa't isa ngunit nahihirapan siyang ito ay abutin. Hanggang maid na lang ba ang tingin nito sa kanya?

Citranya yang demikian membuat orang-orang sekitarnya senang terhadapnya. Bisakah Gilang meninggalkan kebiasaan buruknya itu? Mampukah hubungan keduanya bertahan? Ini bukanlah cerita yang kalian harapkan. Tears slipped from the corners of my eyes. Only then did I realize I should never have chained her to me with the love we shared in our youth. When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day I first found Anastasia. This time, I chose to let her memories stay buried so that the girl I loved could run freely toward the man she had always wanted.

Someone posted a love confession to me on the college's confession wall. But then my roommate's boyfriend left a comment claiming I had slept with every guy on campus. I was furious and ready to call the police. My roommate begged me to forgive her boyfriend, promising she'd make him apologize publicly on the confession wall. But before that apology ever came, an adult video started circulating in the student group chats. Everyone was saying I was the girl in the video. The college summoned me for a meeting and suggested I take a leave of absence. When I went home, my parents refused to acknowledge me as their daughter. I lost everything. Depression consumed me, and with the endless rumors, I finally gave in to despair and ended my life. When I opened my eyes again, it was the day my name first appeared on the confession wall.
