In the light of the moon, the water looks luminescent, and the moss-covered rocks and boulders look like giant emerald gemstones. There’s no magic in this place, and yet it’s the most magical-looking thing I’ve ever seen. If anger or fear took hold of her, the gemstone would darken, turning a deep, unsettling black.

Trees shimmered in shades of silver and gold, while flowers bloomed in a rainbow of colors that danced in the gentle breeze. As Theo explored this enchanting world, he encountered friendly creatures with coats of every color imaginable. A rainbow-colored bird chirped a cheerful tune, leading Theo through fields of shimmering grass that changed color with each step he took. Butterflies with wings painted in iridescent hues fluttered around him, leaving trails of sparkling dust in their wake.

I didn’t want any interruptions or distractions. We burst through the trees in a sea of grey and sapphire fur, the open clearing full of different colored flowers before us. The stems and petals swayed in the light breeze, the dropping night temperatures still haven’t wilted them yet. It was only a matter of time before the clearing became sparse until next spring.
