Griselle terdiam saat mendengar perkataan David, saat ini di dalam hatinya timbul keinginan yang sangat besar untuk menarik keras rambut dan menggigit daun telinga pria di depannya ini. Ternyata kebaikan David tadi siang hanya untuk menjadikan dirinya dan pegawainya sebagai kelinci percobaan. Rupanya dia mau membalas dendam, maki Griselle di dalam hati. "Melihat kamu kembali baik-baik saja, aku merasa sedikit tenang, artinya makananku masih layak untuk dimakan." David melanjutkan perkataannya masih dengan nada tenang, tanpa menyadari perubahan di wajah Griselle yang sudah menghitam. Wajah Griselle yang awalnya kelam, tiba-tiba berubah dengan cepat menjadi wajah penuh kelicikan. Perubahan wajah Griselle secepat membalikkan telapak tangan, dengan wajah penuh senyuman manis, dia berkata, "Tetapi aku tetap harus berterima kasih loh."

I start to feel embarrassed, and my expression darkens as I look at Hilda, my supposed aunt, who's barely any older than me. "I've grown up eating at my uncle's place and never paid a single penny. Besides, your prices are downright outrageous!" Hilda calmly whips out a price menu and righteously declares, "That's all ancient history. Now, we're running a farmhouse business where all prices are clearly marked, so everyone pays the same rate. "Barron said you're some big boss in the city. Surely you're not going to stiff us over a little bill, are you?" She steps in front of the gate to block the exit with her body and shoots me a contemptuous look. "Even family settles their accounts. If you don't pay up today, don't even dream about stepping through this door!" While Mildred panics, I laugh in disbelief before taking out my phone and dialing Barron's number. "Uncle Barron, Hilda wants to settle accounts between family, so don't you think it's time we settled our accounts too?"

Gosh! Those eyes! They were screaming cute! His masculine beauty was out of this world and he is the kind of man I’d love. I watched him as he ate gracefully without looking elsewhere, his eyes were fixed on his phone. His short brown hair was to die for, I instantly wished I could run my fingers through them. Too bad, I might not be the kind of woman he wants; it wouldn't hurt to have sinful fantasies. He suddenly looked towards me, maybe he must have noticed I had my eyes on him all along. Immediately he locked eyes with mine, I looked elsewhere pretending to looking for something that wasn’t missing. I could tell he gave a faint smile but kept sipping his drink slowly, as he was gazing at his phone. He gave a signal to come and get his bill and I walked gracefully to him. God! I wish he could just take me to bed. Oops! I’m a church girl and shouldn’t be thinking of things like that. “You should take a picture of me, it will last longer.” He said in a baritone voice.

Kepala pelayan mencoba menahanku, tapi Felix bahkan tak berkedip sedikit pun. “Dia pasti balik lagi,” katanya malas, sambil menggoyangkan gelas anggur. “Dalam waktu tiga hari, dia akan menangis dan memohon padaku.” Tamu-tamu pun tertawa terbahak-bahak. Mereka bertaruh satu juta dolar di depan mataku. Bertaruh bahwa aku bahkan tak akan sanggup melewati malam ini dan akan kembali memohon seperti anjing jalanan yang kehilangan harga diri, memohon agar Felix membiarkanku masuk ke rumah. Namun, mereka tidak tahu bahwa aku sudah menerima lambang keluarga dari ayah kandungku yang sebenarnya dan tiket pesawat pun sudah kupesan. Kali ini, aku benar-benar akan pergi.

It forges a deeper connection between them and when the bad hybrids capture him, she runs to the elemental dragons for help. What will happen when Ancalagon realizes that his brother has been claimed by his mate? How will Eliane react when she realizes that Ancalagon has been searching for her all this time.
