It was a tradition for monarchs to show strength and unity. The queen reached for his hand, and for some reason, he felt different with her touch. They strolled together towards the stairs. The people cheered upon seeing them. His eyes automatically looked for Jestina. He knew she would wear a white dress, partnering up with his suit. At the bottom of the stairs, Jestina was standing, looking at him, staring at the queen’s hands intertwined with him. Her eyes were full of contempt and jealousy. Standing in the middle of the palace hall with the royal family glaring at him dumbfoundedly, the general almost panicked. Especially when he saw the Queen Mother's face turn red. 'Hows this possible?' her head was buzzing and couldn't figure it out for a while. Initially, the Queen Mother had hated the idea of the games being cancelled, but when she saw how the political heads of Andorra had practically begged her to reinstate the games; she had used it as a bargain to control them, thereby strengthen her rule of the Kingdom.
