Without a warning, I lunged forward with speed, and my fist punched his face—I didn't miss the crack of bone.
I stopped in my tracks. With a smug smile, I turned to Maximus, who tried not to groan, and I watched him straighten his jaw.
"That was fucking petty of you." He cursed, spitting out. "You are losing so much power that your punch doesn't even do much harm." He scorned. "How about you come at me again? I would let you hit me as much as you want." A wicked grin spread across his face.
"Sure. Don't move." I rolled my fingers into a ball again and lunged forward, striking a punch to his face that had Maximus taking multiple steps backwards, almost stumbling on his feet.
