I began to chant as I felt the blood of Ares mixing with my own until I could feel his power coursing through my veins. I lift my hand and outstretched it until my long black fingernail was technically touching the barrier around the clearing. I watch as the tip of my nails began to bend until it melt. I smirked before retracting my hand. "Ester darling, I see you are not happy that I am visiting you today." I spoke and summoned one of my crows. This one name was Ghost, he had a liking for lost souls that lingered on earth.He could spot them quickly, something I have used him for occasionally when I want to suck some of the souls power. There is nothing more delicious than a wandering soul.

“I imagine it might seem that way to you and me, but they have different beliefs. Let’s just give the fella a chance. If this place is really haunted, he’s the one to help us. Besides, it would me mighty rude of us to have him come here and then turn him away.” Melody’s lower lip protruded forward as she contemplated his words. “You said it was haunted. Now you say if it is haunted. Which is it?” “I don’t rightly know for sure. I’m not an expert with ghosts.” Adam grabbed the coffee pot and a cup. “I say we give the guy a chance. Lord knows, I’m not worth a salt when it comes to spirits.” Melody looked at her father with raised brow. “Do you think it’s haunted too, father?”

Veronica stayed quiet and Mike was paying attention to the road along with the driver. In response, Felix just nodded. Now he was familiar with Nick. He was ready for all the tricks Nick had in his sleeves. "So tell me, where we were back then?" Nick questioned. "Huh? Inside the studio of Ghostbusters?" Felix answered back. "Right! What do Ghostbusters do?" "As the name suggests? Ghostbusting?" "Pffttt! Hahahaha! that's the lamest answer I've ever heard."

"You know the plan," the Ghost said over the comms unit in Leo’s ear. "I’ve looped the cameras in the vents, but motion sensors are tricky. Crawl slow. When you reach the junction above the server room, wait for my signal." "Got it," Leo said. Silas grabbed his arm, pulling him in for one last, brutal kiss. "Don't die, Leo. I would be very annoyed."

Roderick felt a cold sinkhole open in his stomach. Dorian leaned down, whispering just loud enough for both of them to hear. "I know about the 'Ghost Unit' in the Special Forces, Roderick. I know about the operation in Mogadishu that went sideways. And I know exactly why you were dishonorably discharged for 'instability'." Dorian straightened his jacket, offering a thin, predatory smile. "Enjoy your dinner, boys," Dorian said, turning to walk away. "But be careful, Elias. You shouldn't sleep with ghosts. They have a habit of disappearing when the lights go out."

​The platform dropped. ​As they descended into the Pacific, the water around the Shallows was no longer clear. It was thick with a violet bioluminescence that looked like oily smoke. The Sterling Exiles' needle-pods, once silent and dead, were beginning to vibrate in their undersea graves, their internal systems being jump-started by the Ouroboros signal. ​"They're waking up," Lyra whispered, her spatial awareness flaring. "The 'Exiles' in the pods... they're not coming back as people. The virus is using their neural interfaces to create a Ghost Army."

What treasures they hope to find there, I'll never know. The clouds outside the village grow black and I hear a chattering of many teeth. The ground shakes and I can hear many legs dancing across the horizon like many drums of war. A horde of spiders approaches me from the distance. Their leader laughs while hovering in the sky. The Ghost has found me and has made my journey easier. "You must be Rosemary, the Ghost, I've heard so much about," I say while crossing my arms and smiling proudly. "Yes, I am she. The trees told me you were looking for me. Tell me what does the nephew of a great Chieftain Like Chief Wolfpaw need from me?"

But I could see that Wynona wouldn't be dissuaded any time soon. "What about joining the Scooby-Doo Gang?" I said. Ruthie laughed. Zander didn't. "Come on," I practically begged. "We're on the same team. And they already know about all this freaky supernatural stuff-- Oh my gosh!" I pressed a hand against my head. "Dang it! I forgot about Dr. Frankler." Zander's eyebrows drew together in confusion. "I was wondering about that. Didn't you get my texts?" I took out my phone and scrolled through the messages. There were several from both Zander and the doctor.

" Wow! It doesn't seem like she can see ghosts hmm. Yes she can see ghosts but she doesn’t want to tell to other people about that. "But you can see ghost duh!” I said with full of sarcasm. "Yep. If it's a real ghost, and are you scared in ghosts? Opps.. you’re a ghoster remember?" And my crazy friend laughed as if she wasn't a ghoster too. "Wow am I the only ghoster here? You too" I muttered to her. "Hmm Aeshe whats the feeling of being ghosted?” she asked me out of nowhere. "Did you see the guys who cry when we are leaving them? And to see a guy crying with just a week of flirting with them it would have been a lot of pain that it caused them to cry like that." I said to her.
