It showed a shadowy figure draped in dark robes. "He is known as Ghost." Interest flared within me as I took up the image, scrutinizing the elusive figure. "Could this be the same man who visited Aurora's grave?" I pondered aloud. "The unique thing about this man is that he has no scent. I've spoken to people who've encountered him," Leo added.

Echo, Knox, and Blaze rush in, separating them by sheer force. “Enough!” Echo barks, dragging Bone back by the collar. Knox plants himself between them, pushing Ghost toward the other side. “You wanna explain this bullshit?” Knox growls, his voice tight with frustration. Ghost wipes a trickle of blood from his lip, still grinning. “Just letting Bone know she’s free. And if she’s free, I’m fucking her all night long.” Bone snarls, fighting against Echo’s grip. “Over my dead body, you are.”

His gaze swept the room, then locked on the other two who emerged from the darkness. Timmy and Aaron. Both armed. They wore only sweatpants, barefoot, and yet they looked far too dangerous to be just boys waking up in the middle of the night. Timmy had a furrowed brow, messy hair, and the pistol steady in his grip. Aaron, beside him, had an alert glint in his eyes, as if adrenaline had burned away any trace of sleep. And then, at the top of the stairs, Ghost appeared. Unlike the others, he wore a black shirt that seemed tailored to hug every one of his muscles. He held his gun with the same ease as holding a glass of water. His eyes were hard, metallic, scanning every detail of the scene.
