The uncertainty left me restless, tapping my phone screen without really looking at what was in front of me. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed Raven walking toward me. She wore a sheer red lace bra and matching panties. They were so transparent that nothing was hidden. Her nipples and the outline of her body were on full display. Raven is a confident and intentional woman who is always dressed with the intention of being seen and envied. She sat down on the empty chair beside me, leaning back like she owned the space.

"Ronan,what is wrong with Raven,what is wrong with my child,I need to see my child?" I turned sharply. A woman sat in the waiting area, hands trembling against her lap talking to a man who looked distressed as he tried to console her. She looked up at me as I walked up to them. "Who are you?" I asked, "I am Elara Sinclair" she said, her voice breaking. " I am Raven's mother and this is my husband Ronan". I inclined my head at them. Raven had never mentioned her parents to me ,I actually thought she was an orphan. " Mr and Mrs Sinclair, well Raven is inside the Emergency Room and I don't think she would want to see you right now".

I smile back. Next, Raven opens her presents. She gets cruise tickets from Blake for a beautiful new Year's eve dinner, and Ryder gives her a necklace with her name, which is written in his handwriting. Reed gives her two pillows. One, with a picture of her and Blake and another with him, Ryder, and Ella. When Raven opens my present, she finds the dress and takes it in her hand. She sees the extra cloth on the dress, which I altered to fit her size. "Kiara, how.. but it was not my size... I don't know how you did it." She comes and hugs me, and she tells everyone how much she wanted this dress but could not buy since it was a size smaller.

The only reason for this is the simple fact that I have now pointed the ice-cold barrel against Mason’s temple. Once again, he does not flinch; he only carries on drinking his beer. Then once he thinks that I have calmed my rage to a respectable level, he starts to speak again, and god, do I wish that he never did, but ya, “Raven is Raven Sloane. She is Roman’s daughter.”

It was probably just for Kaleb’s sake, but I didn’t mind it anyway. Suddenly, I heard a cheerful voice call to me, and I turned to see it was Raven. Her hair was shiny and fell in perfect waves to her shoulders, while her tall, elegant frame was highlighted by a tight, burgundy silk dress. It was low cut, but her chest was modest enough not to show too much. Her full lips had been painted dark red, and at once, I thought of Adalyn, though Raven somehow looked much more lovely. “Hi Cassandra,” Raven gushed as she reached me, and she gave me a big hug. “I knew he would bring you here.”

she smirked. Raven hesitated for a moment. She had wanted to wear the red gown but was worried about looking too flashy. She didn't want to be the center of attention, but at the same time, she wanted to stand out in the crowd. After considering Katie's suggestion, she finally picked up the red gown, hoping it wouldn't be too much. As Raven disappeared into the bathroom to change, Katie settled onto the bed and waited. A few minutes later, Raven emerged from the bathroom, wearing the stunning red gown. The dress hugged her curves in all the right places, and her eyes seemed to pop against the bright red fabric.

She did not try to talk to anyone. She was waiting. The lights dimmed further. A spotlight found the stage. Raven climbed the steps with the easy grace of someone who had been the center of attention her whole life. The crowd quieted. Raven stood at the microphone, her red dress catching the light, her diamonds sparkling at her throat. She looked beautiful. She looked dangerous. "Good evening, everyone." Applause. Polite, warm, familiar. "I want to thank you all for coming tonight. This gala means so much to me. To my family. To the children who will benefit from your generosity."

“Dad, this is camp, it’s where I’ve been living.” “And you know all of these people?” “Yes. Although some of them aren’t from the camp, we have a lot of alpha Wayne’s fighters here”. “Alpha Wayne?... but why?”. “Raven, you’re back!”. I heard grams call as walked out of her cabin door. As soon as her eyes clocked dad standing next to me she suddenly stopped in her tracks as she looked completely taken aback. “Abe!”. Her lip wobbled as she took in the sight of him.

It is Parsey's Teens Festival today and every teen in town will be there and so it will be the perfect opportunity to find out why he mentioned her mum. Raven hasn't always been the best in being a stylist as she is always indecisive on what to wear and so she decides to wear a gown that is white because it reminds her of Megan. Megan had white furs that were as white as snow and blue sparkly eyes. So she decides to wear to wear the gown but is confused whether to wear jewelery or not. She goes to the bathroom to prepare and sees this beautiful pendant, and she says in her mind " Caleb gave me this" and so she decides to wear it.

“That took longer than I expected.” I spun around. Raven stood a few steps away, a gun raised and steady in her hand. Her hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail, exposing the back of her neck. A tattoo drawn there. A cross. I had ever noticed it before. Her hair was always down and had always covered it. Suddenly, everything clicked. Why Knox had said she was different. Why he had said she smelled like rain mixed with mud. Why she was supposed to be dead—yet here she stood.
