Book 2 of The Billionaire’s Temptation (Can be read as standalone) Liam's visit to Roseville town was to work on a project. In the bedroom, I am being manipulated into various positions. A strange man reaches out toward me and fondles my body roughly with his callused hands. He leans in closer and tells me to relax because it will help release the milk quickly. The man before me is my husband's best friend. He was hired to be my lactation therapist. His hands roam across my waist slowly and pause right at my chest. I can hear him saying in a hoarse voice, "I'm going to start massaging here." I can't help but shudder before closing my eyes tightly.

He threw me into hell."

The day Jessica Smith and I went to pick out our wedding rings, her long-lost first love unexpectedly returned to town. While I was five months pregnant, my husband, Randall Harris, accompanied his assistant to the hospital for an IV drip.   He even posted a selfie with her on social media.   I called him, and he lied straight to my face, saying he was stuck in a meeting at the office.   When I confronted him, he fought with me, gave me the cold shoulder, and then went straight back to his assistant for comfort.   “Are you sure you don’t want to notify the baby’s father? The surgeon asked me. “After this surgery, you won’t ever be able to have children again.”  I closed my eyes.  “He’s dead to me.” 

The company holds a management meeting. My wife's secretary, Lisa Carter, is checking IDs at the conference room entrance. She greets everyone who enters with a warm smile. But when it is my turn, she lets out a scornful laugh. I frown and pull out my Cybersecurity Department Manager's ID, but she doesn't even glance at it. "Mr. Torres, Ms. Shaw took pity on you and made you a manager. Do you really think you're somebody important?" I ignore her and dial the CEO's direct line instead. "Someone's saying my position is just charity from you. Is it true?"

He came to me and hugged me without saying anything. "I'm sorry for all I did. And I'm letting you go. I know that you don't love me anymore so I'm ready to be patient for you." Dave... I closed my eyes and realized, I hugged him back and rested my chin on his arm. We are only carried away by our emotions so we do bad things. But anyway, I forgive you since you told me your reason. You have become a part of my life, Dave, and I was happy to have you before. "Dave."

"I was only trying to be nice to you and you did this??" Andrea wailed and fell to the floor looking down at her drenched clothes. "How could you do this to me Miss Alicia??" She cried profusely, pointing at Alicia who had great shock on her face. She hasn't done anything, what was she saying? She wasn't the waiter who had poured drinks on her body, why was she accusing her?? Alicia was damned confused. Just then, she saw it, her swift smirk when her husband began bashing her for offence she didn't commit, there she realized the b!tch had planned it all.
