*Zombie* I bolt out of the old school like a bat out of hell, the door slamming behind me with a thud that echoes in the stillness of the night. Just as one of them lunged forward, about to bite through Dan’s neck, I stood on the second-floor balcony, holding a cup of coffee, calmly looking down at the scene below. “Ruth,” I said lightly, “they’re too loud.” From the shadows behind me, Ruth stepped forward and simply glanced down at the yard. “Boom!” In an instant, the zombies were crushed flat against the ground by the overwhelming force of gravity. The sound of bones shattering rang out, and a moment later, they were all reduced to pulp.

It was surrounded by those 'walkers', stumbling around like they were in a trance. "What are they?" He breathed out, staring in disbelief. He chugged some water, letting out a sigh of hydrated relief. "They call them walkers." She pointed the screen down slightly to allow him to see easier and switched to the website she was reading. "There's information on them, finally." As Adam read, she watched his expression change from confused to terrified. "This is like an actual zombie movie." He spluttered, barely able to get his words out. Behind them, a stirring caught their attention.

The Zompires are dead creatures considered to be undead, their existence is a curse and an abomination of the hidden world itself. They are ludicrous and predictable unlike other creatures on the planet, they're visibly blind but attracted to noises and lights. They could transform others at will with just a bite but that differs between species. It hasn't been really tested on a dhampir but Rapidfire was not ready to try that out yet.

In the midst of the chaos, the Zombie BOSS rampaging in the center of the warehouse suddenly stopped. It caught the scent of the spilled protein shake. Its glowing red eyes locked onto the first Zombie Food Vlogger who was busy licking the floor. "Mmmph… new… content… protein collaboration… without… my permission?!" the Zombie BOSS growled, its voice thick with rage. It didn't appreciate another vlogger creating 'extreme' content in its territory without approval. The Zombie BOSS lunged at the first Zombie Food Vlogger. WHAM! The vlogger was hit squarely by the freezer on the Zombie BOSS’s back.

Xia grip on the zombie neck tightened, her twinkling phoenix eyes as if it had stars in them as she slowly approached the zombie ears, she says, “I forgot to tell you. I am immune to zombie virus” she muttered so sweetly but her words were still regarded as if every word she uttered was covered with thorns, it sent goose bumps to his greyish skin and sent chills to his infected cell for the last time, before he felt his body exploding.

Munch… Crunch… Suddenly, a chewing sound came from around the corner. Julian was stunned and poked half his head out to look. By the elevator, a zombie in a torn Armani suit was crouched on the floor, gnawing on a corpse that had long since become unrecognizable. As if it had smelled fear coming off a living person, the suited zombie suddenly went still. It slowly turned its head. Its cloudy, pale eyes locked onto Julian. A long, dark red piece of intestine was still hanging from the corner of its torn mouth.

Harvey shot back. "Oh, the loser's angry." The short-haired woman let out a dry smile. "I don't need to get angry with a person who's going to die soon," Harvey said calmly. "A reminder. Inside that salmon are hundreds of Zombie Bug eggs. You can't see it with your naked eye. If you eat it, in just half a month, the Zombie Bugs will multiply in your body and clean your brain. You'll become a real walking corpse."

But that didn’t escalate our shock, this did. We started to hear movement somewhere around the store. Ambrose was behind us, he tried to move closer, and ‘tripped’ on something and fell. Hannah pointed her torch only for us to see that a zombie held Ambrose’s leg, before any action could be taken, the zombie dug her teeth into Ambrose’s leg which made him let out a scream of horror. “Fuck!!!” I yelled and grabbed a fire extinguisher and smashed it into the Zombie’s head as she was moving towards us.

I was able to shout at them my teeth gritting together with the cold. The girl, Cassidy or whoever she was, moved towards my two servants Ana and Marissa, she stood over them as she motioned her hand to them as if she was choking them and I see them in pain coughing hard again and again their face turning blue as blood flowed out of their mouths.
